I would love one of that model Civic. A proper car.

    It was *bawls*.

Top tip: If your wife/GF gets pregnant, dont immediately bosh your sports car in for something completely gay.

Not only was it absolutely amazing to drive and look at, it was absolutely bulletproof. For a performance car, it was unbelievably low maintenance.

Outside of servicing, the only thing I did to it was change the stereo and put on a couple of tyres. It never needed any work at all.

    God, I loved that car.

And they really aren't making them like that anymore. Better than its successor.

That Veneno looks like the designer drove home in a Reventon, watched Batman, then had too much cheese before he went to bed.

Then got up and started drawing!

    Mental looking Lambo's FTW!

    Sorry, but

Something is terribly wrong when a German can design something more beautiful than an Italian. Jaggy bits, fins, phat intakes. Ridiculous. A car for people who own IT companies.

I hadn't heard of it. You're right though.

To be fair, it is a Lamborghini.

I tried to be insulted and search Google for images of most beautiful German cars, unfortunately most of them were Porsches, and the second picture was actually a Volvo.

So I gave up. Your point proven.

I don't find Porsches that attractive visually, myself. There's the whole technical perfection thing they have going for them, though.

Arguably, the prettiest German car these days would be the mini, as far as I'm concerned. Nothing to do with the fact I drive one almost every day, no, no. :-)

I do like how Porsches look. I really like them. But they aren't anywhere near the wow factor of almost any Italian car. They're nice looking (and extremely conservative) cars, while Lambos and Ferraris and Maseratis (and in the past, also Lancias), are just blowing your mind.

It's not only the Italians though, the Brits made some damn stylish cars too. I guess it's just not the Germans.

I'm also a fan of the Porsche's stylings, especially the GT or Turbo 911s with the proper, giant wings. Not that little retractable nonsense.

Brits probably designed the best looking cars on the road today.

My theory: what with Germans taking over Italian firms (Lambo anyway), I reckon German bosses have ordered Italians to design German cars (with success), whilst German designers have tried designing Italian cars (jaggy bits, fins, massive air intakes, wings etc).

    @Bremenacht

They did actually, they hired Da Silva for designing Audis, VWs and Seats, and with success. They're no cars that will make you drool, but they are nicely designed everyday cars.

A bad example of German influence imo is the Rolls Royce Phantom, which turned from classy luxury car to massive colossus bling-bling car.

I actually quite fancy ugly bloated curvy cars like that. The topmost headlights are a bad choice though, as is the front grille. Otherwise it doesn't really look that offensive.

No, it really is awful. But I see quite a few around town, so some people must like it. Or the price is very attractive.

I haven't gone through the thread, but it would be ridiculous if no one mentioned the Nissan Joke before. It's just one of the fugliest, most deformed and bizarre cars in existence.

I see Multipla mentioned above, for every mention I feel the urge to point out that there's one thing worse than the Multipla exterior: its interior.

Also, LOL@DrStrangelove's Panamera reference. I like the Panamera actually, though the Cayenne (1st or 2nd generation) looks awful though.

Yeah, a guy up the road has one. The old, shit non-turbo version rather than the slightly less shit but still quite shit new turbo one.

It looks ok from certain angles, but I just cant get over the fact that something called 'the veloster' is so fucking slow.

I think you've got them the wrong way around.

The Hyundai doesn't look bad, for a Hyundai. Doesn't belong in this thread really.

That other thing looks like a spaz-bus for the super-rich. Look at picture 5! Haha! The ultimate Jimmy Saville motorhome.
