Anyone know? Don't think I've read anything about it but it would be mighty nice.
Knack is the only game that has been confirmed iirc and NFS has been rumoured. Guess we will find out by the weekend.

OK, so it's possible at least. Good stuff.

The PS4 app on Vita gives you the option of remote play or second screen play so hopefully a few devs will make use of it.

Where did you see that? Greatest news ever, if true.
Quite a few European language sites and Joystiq from what I can see.
It is brilliant on the PC. I have sunk many hours into it, but have barely scratched the surface. With Minecraft and Terraria coming, this could see my Vita getting a lot of playtime.

It would be really, really awesome.

For me that's easily the most enticing thing about the Wii U. Not Zelda, not Metroid, not Mario. But the local-multiplayer dual screen function.

All devs should make use of it. Consider it penance for the mass death of splitscreen gaming.

Indeed. But as I was just reading, it would mean the PS4 producing two video outputs, so it must have some sort of detrimental effect on the performance. Hopefully not too noticeable.

Looks very promising, although I'm not fussed on shooters for a handheld.

    Cannot wait.

Stuff like NFS will be very difficult I imagine, what with the latency and far less sensitive analogue stick / non-analogue triggers. I'm sure NFS:MW on the Vita was a little toned down in difficulty to offset that.

But yes, the whole thing looks fantastic. Almost too good to be true :/

It is a great feature. On Black Ops 2, it works online with no real perceptible performance hit. It's especially handy for Zombies, where you know you've got at least one person in the same room who you can shout at if they're useless ;)

I really do hope Sony make the most of the PS4/Vita connection, as it really has the potential to be something truly special. If they leverage the fact the Vita can do it's own processing, it could be the best local multiplayer experience around.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

To be honest, even if it drops half the framerate it would be worth it.

All Remote Play impressions seem to be positive so far? Although that could be the NDA's. I'm surprised there aren't any sites complaining for hits.

As a Vita owner this remote play feature looks potentially really useful, and personally trumps all the interesting features the Xbox One offers. I'm really close to settling on PS4 now after months of wavering between the two consoles.

If you count my local Sainsbury's then most people in this thread have more Vita games than they do. ;)

How does automatic update work with the Vita? I've got it turned on but nothing seems to happen, does it have to be switched on / in standby for it to work?

@Nazo it'll update itself through the night for example if that's what you have it set too. You need to leave it in sleep mode as far as I am aware.

Bah, left half the charger on a plane, no vita for 3 weeks and it was this holiday that motivated me to buy it in the first place. The standard charger on the new model is looking pretty useful right about now.

No shops around which sell gaming stuff? Replacement chargers are cheap IIRC.

Weirdly, injustice was on the PS store the other day and now its vanished again so I couldnt buy it.

It really is such a piece of shit. I hope they have got a relaunch in the offing, because at the moment its absolutely useless.

For Vita? It's releasing today I think so it was probably a store error. It hit US PSN yesterday.

Sounds like the Vita TV will only log in with a Japanese account. I'd try it myself as I plan to buy one but the TV I have here doesn't have an HDMI port so I wouldn't be able to check.
