After calling around for trade in prices I was told by one independent shop owner that he spoke to Sony today and they're dropping the price of vitas in 6 weeks to a max of 130 quid!

He recommended me returning my Vita to tesco as he can't give me a decent price knowing that which I did and got a full refund! BOOM,
You only just boguht it? What made you want rid so quickly? Odd.

Finished BreakQuest last night including the secret level :-D Think I'll delete now - got 95% trophies and am not playing the game for 24 hours lol. Completed the game with 95 balls left so even 43 free would have been enough to do the lot!

Although it took 20 balls to do the secret level after I just decided the bottom row was best to shoot from the paddle, let the ball go straight out then line up the new ball so I could hit the right spots, was going to take forever otherwise.

Breakquest gets a strong 7/10 for me. Surprisingly decent game that lets you see 80% or more with the free balls. Definitely worth a download.

    Same for me.
Yeah I'm actually finding it better than the full fat third game. it's not as big and pretty but it has a much better protagonist and actually has a go at adding a few things to the formula. Not that they all succeed mind you. Keep in mind that it's wonky as hell but then again so was the third game. It's worth a bash if you like the franchise.

The main character is in the Playstation exclusive content for Ass Creed four as well ;)

@northernlights At first I thought 'wow - a competent third person game on a handheld!' Once the novelty wore off I found it quite dull and it felt like a bit of a rush job. Maybe I didn't give it enough time but the time I had with it was a bit of a bore.
It was rushed, with several bugged missions but it's decent to play a bit of every now and then. I guess it might be like you say though (wow its on a handheld! effect) because I wouldn't play it on console.

Really want to get a physical vita game to put in that thus-far empty slot.

Any recommendations for a PS+ subscriber (i.e. it's not likely to be free any time soon)? Anything that's a bargain especially!

    @carlo

you can get Fifa from shopto for less than six quid.

unlikely to be on plus I think, as basically if you have one Vita Fifa, you have them all ... (only squads updated, not gameplay)

And another 'vote' for Virtua Tennis, first physical game I got, I like it a lot (for the price)

Thanks guys. Not a huge sports game fan, but if you're all recommending it and it's that cheap I might have to :D

I'll check the swapsies thread first though.

Virtua Tennis is arcade-y rather than a sim, with many fun mini-games. I'm not a tennis game fan but Virtua Tennis is excellent and highly recommended and also retains the depth of a great game. If you haven't played Virtua Tennis before it's at least a 9/10.

@Carlo Virtua Tennis is exactly what I was going to say. I bought it on Amazon for about 6 quid or so. And it's been one of the highlights of the Vita so far. Superb graphics at a rock solid 60fps. It looks and plays really well on the Vita.

I've also been a fan of the series since the Dreamcast. Very fun and intuitive.

It's 35 quid on PSN so you really do feel you're getting a bargain too :D

Some really good deals in the latest sale. Stardrone is 1.43 (I only have 1.42 on my account though, grrr) and Alien Breed was about 2, definitely worth that.

Looking forward to getting some credit and grabbing some more of the cheap games. I think I'll play through Limbo again for under 3!

Just went into Argos to collect my Vita reservation and the lady over the counter said:

"I'm afraid you look under age, so I have to ask you for ID"

Damn you Killzone.....I don't even want you anyway.

    Plus I'm 32

I'll have to try again tomorrow

Nabbed Hotline Miami for 2 on PSN. Works great on the Vita. Glad I've resisted playing it on any platform until now.

Motherfucking Muramasa is finally out and it's only 20! Holding out for the EU release has not only given me a warm fuzzy feeling for supporting it, but also saved me a tenner compared to the physical US copies on Amazon :D

You should be able to see both, but if you buy the PS3 one, it's cross-buy, so you can download the Vita version too.

The new Project Diva F demo is up on Japanese PSN - it's a time limited demo so if you're interested make sure you get it.

Initial impressions (I only had time for one song) - loading is still bad, timing seems better than the previous one, graphics might well be higher resolution, or they just improved the AA filter a bit. Probably going to buy it! I just wish I could play in Hard difficulty - the otherwise disappointing Project Mirai 2 demo on 3DS did that.

Only got the 4GB card at the moment until my 64GB arrives, so no account swapping for me until then! There's no way I wouldn't get the next Project Diva game after all the fun I've had with the last one, though. :) Is it out in late spring or am I making that up?

I think the promo screen said early 2014, so that'd make sense. I'm feeling really out of sorts today though, so I wouldn't trust my memory! Where did you order the 64 cart from? I suppose I'll pick one up at the end of the month.

If we both think so then maybe it's true (or not!). Out of curiosity, did they have Gumi songs in the latest Mirai game or just a Gumi cameo? I wish they'd put her in Project Diva along with a few tracks.

Annd just as I was typing this the postman turned up with my 64GB memory card. Hurrah! I ordered from Neowing/CDJapan (had a fair amount of points to reduce the cost). Came in a week by airmail.

    Whoa, currently 100 app/bubble limit! Sorry if old, it's been apparent for a while but people are only hitting it now due to the 64gb cards. Hope it's fixable, I'd be surprised if it wasn't;

Killzone is an amazing technological achievement and a solid first person shooter. Inventive use of touch screen. Single player campaign is not very long though. You need WiFi to play online.
Yes you can play PlayStation One Resident Evil games on the Vita, and you can buy them off PSN directly through the Vita.
