    I see.

Which PS2 games would we want?

GTA VC and SA, as mentioned earlier.
    Manhunt
    Capcom Classics
    Kingdom Hearts
    Fahrenheit
    Second Sight
    Devil May Cry
    Resident Evil 4
    Killer7
    Star Wars Jedi Starfighter

@Kay Ah, such subtle product placement.

And weird! I don't think even Murbal, aros and I could claim to have 'all the games' between us! ;)

@H1ggyLTD I wouldn't mind Kingdom Hearts 1.5 for the Vita, but it's already been released with no sign of a Vita version, which doesn't seem promising. :/

Anyone using the Hori grip find that the handles keep sliding back up towards the vita.

Or have I just got a duff one? :)

I'm undecided on this or the Big Ben one. Both have +'s & -'s

The Big Ben one feels more comfortable to hold, but not as secure as the Hori one. Plus you can't charge with the grip on.
I like how the Hori handles slide away but I'm not sure I prefer playing games with it more than my Big Ben one!
Mine don't slide up on their own. I really like the Hori grip. I find it much more comfortable with the grip on.

But I've reserved myself one, sound great for the price.

    @Zackv4861

They don't slide up on there own but as I'm holding it with the handles extended they slide upwards towards the vita.

    Broken would you say?

Played the PSP version, nowt special. Some bastard hard, unfair difficulty spikes and pretty dull gameplay don't help.

Pay day on Friday. Jak + Daxter or Soul Sacrifice?

Soul Sacrifice if you have to chose jak and daxter is a very poor conversion from what I've read.

Is there a way to change a game's icon on the Vita desktop, or make it inaccessible without a password or something like that? The reason I ask is that I've just downloaded Hotline Miami and my three year old daughter sometimes plays my Vita, so I want to ensure she can't play it. I know she'll see the picture of the pig face mask and look at it out of curiosity.

You could stick it in a folder.

    Can't think of anything else

    Try the parental controls
    http://manuals.playstation.net/document/gb/psvita/settings/parental.html

The parental controls will block use, but the only way for you to get access is to change them, play the game and then put the controls back up.

    :-(

Thanks for the help. That's not very damn intuitive - why can't you use a pin number like, erm, every phone since about 1996, or a draw-to-unlock pattern like every smartphone ever?! I think I'll have to delete it and play it on my PS3 then. Or hide the Vita until I've completed it and then delete it altogether.

Also bought a 32MB card today and a protective case. So far I've spent about 220 on this thing + accessories, and my wife thinks I'm borrowing it from a friend! She fucking hates videogames in general, and there's a lot of things around the house and garden that I should be putting that money toward instead.

But I can't play Gravity Rush on a lawnmower, or a new carpet, now can I?!

    @Triggerhappytel

You can lock the whole Vita with a passcode if you want.

Cheers! Got it new for a tenner since I like strategy games but there's pretty much nothing about it online. I won't get my hopes up too much but it might be a nice-ish diversion. :)

I'm loving Hotline Miami, what a game!

In terms of headsets I use the Turtle Beach M5 which I got for less than 20 and the sound quality is stunning as you would expect from a Turtle Beach set. I use PX5 on console which obviously is in a different league but for a mobile set I would definitely recommend the M5s.

Hotline Miami is brilliant, I do find the controls a little fiddly at times, but I'm not complaining (locking on with the touch screen is sometimes more hassle than it's worth).

Stayed up until 1 last night playing this in bed with headphones on.

    The soundtrack is sublime.

It's a funny one, usually I stray away from games like that just to avoid the frustration but somehow feel the constant restarting tolerable.

Looking at the 15 or so levels, just wondering if anything else unlocks or if it's mainly a 'do again for a better score' kind of game. Only 5 in and it's certaintly upped the difficulty already, took a while to take out that first boss needing multiple weapon swapping.

Anyone having problems with titles not showing, go into the details of the last title you can see properly and the next few should load in.

You can slowly scroll down the list in this way to get them all to load.

Loving Hotline miami. Just played it for the first time with headphones and OMFG. Couldn't hear half of the music without them. Won't be playing without them again. And can I be added to the psn Id. Thread please.
