Excellent. I wish it was out today. Perfect evening for me to get some gaming in.

Maybe there'll be a Plus discount too. I've got no basis for saying that, except that Sony seem to be trying really hard to be super-awesome lately.

I feel kinda bad that I've had my Vita for 3-4 months and haven't bought a single game for it as everything I've played has been through Plus.

@Kostabi Buy Guacamelee! Well worth it!
  • Deleted user 25 June 2013 20:24:04
I don't know if its due to me having a little boy and the fact I can just pick up my vita and have 10-15 mins here and there. Dropping in and out of games, browsing YouTube etc suits me right now.

Looking forward to starting the Last of Us though.

I could second this, loved it. Only started out though but it's fantastic stuff

As always I've got to recommend Limbo.

Had 8 bucks saved now it's a toss up between Hotline Miami or FF tactics. Hmmmm decisions. Nice one for the guys that have added me on here as well.

Defeat is not getting knocked down, but refusing to get back up.

FFT has been known to drop to half price. Plus Tactics Ogre is better ;-)

Purely your decision but I would go for Hotline Miami.

I'm really enjoyjng Motorstorm Pacific Rift. Yeah it doesn't look brilliant on the Vita but it plays really well and it's challenging. I like the way you have multiple routes around the tracks.

Sorry to bother you, but is Tactics Ogre an SRPG? If so, is it like FFT? Or Fire Emblem? Or Disgaea?

I loved Disgaea, could not get along Tactics Ogre at all. Something about the style of the game. Imagine if a western RPG developer did a real-time version of Disgaea. Imagine how wrong that would feel. It's like that but the other way round.

Plus ogre is expensive. I've heard awesome things about FF tactics. Leaning more towards hotline but the 2 hour completion is off putting for the price.

Hmmm. I see. Might give it a try, have credit in my psn wallet anyway. Thanks at both of you.

Edit: Is it not the same price as FFT?

Thanks guys, I'll be giving it a whirl soon. For some reason I'd written it off in my head as being pants but the gameplay videos look like brilliant fun.

Christ I am LOVING virtue's last reward. The flowchart is inspired, I love hitting an ending then leaping back to instantly make a different choice and see the impact. Story is really good too, can tell it's going to be as deep and mental as 999. The puzzles so far are great, challenging but not stupidly so (except from one). Love that moment when your brain clicks it into place, and it's happened a few times too.

I think handheld consoles really prove their worth once you have young kids. That's at least been the case for me over the past six years or so.

@CosmicFuzz It is brilliant. The flowchart is such a handy addition to the series. I think they've added it to the ios version of 999 too (while, er, removing the puzzles).

Yeah I saw they had removed most of the puzzles from the ios version. How bizarre!
