150 with LBP eh? Couple that with the free games on PS+ at the moment and that's mighty tempting...

Ohhhhh forgot to mention. I got Metal Gear Solid in the sale after thinking 7.99 was a tad steep, I then seen it reduced the day after.

Great value for one of my favourite games of all time, shame it doesn't use the full screen (but maybe it would look worse stretched).

The Hori Grip could help if you are finding the vita uncomfortable to hold. When I got my Vita people suggestested it better to just bite the bullet and buy the biggest memory card you can afford, especially if you have PS+. If you buy a small one you're only going to end up buying another card later. When I got mine Amazon were the cheapest for cards, I got a 32GB for 54.99. But then I'd been grabbing the PS+ stuff since the vita version started.

Do the handles fold away on the Hori grip?

You really don't need a huge memory card if you have a decent internet connection. Cloud saves and 8GB is perfectly fine. Just DL games when you need them.

@Mark1412 it's a decent price but factor a memory card
Into that with 8gb a minimum which is around 25-30 then
Ps plus which is almost as essential

Oh thank god! I bought MLB 13 about a week ago and if I saw it on sale at 7.99 I would of flipped a little. It's just the crappy '12. Phew!

So is the 32gb card stil around the 55 mark?

Was waiting for E3 for any possible price drops but that didn't seem to happen, currently on the hunt for the cheapest deal so if anyone knows where the best place to look at the moment is...

I just got one via flubit for 48. It'll take 3 days or so longer than buying direct from amazon, but I think they've got a bit of a wait on deliveries for 32gb cards atm anyway.

Jak and Daxter arrived yesterday, I haven't seen any of the stuttering described either so I would recommend the game.

I also ordered Epic Mickey 2 from Game as they have the boxed version for 16. Impressions online say it runs well and the paint/thinner controls which were apparently poor on console are now touch. Worth a gamble at that price I reckon.

Hmm...will have a think at 48, at it'll come hane in hand with my PS+ re-sub it's still a bit of cash to put down.

Does anyone know if the Jak Trilogy is cross save? Started Jak 1 on my PS3 so not heaps keen to start from scratch again.

Put the amazon link into flubit now; they take a day or two to get back to you with a quote anyway, and even then there's no obligation to buy.

But, really, I think if you do get a 32gb card you'll look back and be glad you did.

Oh I know, it was always going to be a 32gb card. I just wanted the best deal for it, now I only have half an hour before others come into work so I better get looking sharpish! :)

Can't believe the prices of the memory cards still. I bought my 32gb about 6 months ago for 58 and the price hasn't dropped much since. Shopto & Amazon both showing 75 at the minute, ridiculous. My brother got the console for 99 from Game.

I don't believe it is cross save, it's pretty much the ps2 games with the word Vita added it seems like. It was also Mark Cerny that has ported it according to the manual!

If you have the digital versions of the ps3 games, it is cross buy though.

Memory card prices are the one thing that put me off buying when the price of the Vita was at its highest too.
Just ordered a Hori controller grip, I currently use the Big Ben one which I'm completely happy with but thought I'd give another a try too.
Is there a case that will hold the vita with the Hori grip still attached? (Was wondering if this is why the handles slide up and down)?

Also I'm sure I've asked this before but does anyone use wireless headphones with their Vita?

Could I have a link if so..? I'm currently using my iPhone ear buds.

Probably a stupid question but what's the PSN's Xbox Live's Arcade equivalent?

    Mini's?

I'd have thought it was PSN. XBLIG would have been more akin to minis...

No, just PSN. Sony don't wall off the XBLA type games from the rest.

Minis are more like iPhone games.

Anyone know if the Jak trilogy has to be bought together or if you can get them individually? Would love to play the first one again on the commute but want to avoid the second and third as much as possible.

@Humperfunk Yes you can buy each of the Jak games individually, 11.99 each I seem to remember

    @Humperfunk

They are listed as individuals but iirc they are 11.99 each or all 3 for 19.99.

I bought the PS3 version off of the store in a sale a while back for about 10 and get the Vita version as a cross buy so colour me happy.

    Thanks for the response chaps.

Another question further to your post Kangoo, do you by chance know if the retail version is cross buy also? Because I have that! Love the first game so much I want to give it another run you see :)
