imamazed, Everybodys Golf is great, although its not hugely different to the PSP version(s) ... but a nice relaxing colourful game.
If you want cheap ... GAME has Virtua Tennis for 4.99 delivered ...
    @iamamazed

Everybody's golf is fantastic IMO. Totally loving it and that's a great price.

I ordered 3 copies of Virtua Tennis for me and a couple of mates. Really looking forward to playing that too. Great price also

Aros - accept your friends request :p

To be honest I LOVE MY VITA!!!!!!

@elhozzo I haven't played the psp versions in aaaages, so I think I might go with this vita version.

VT is great and everything, but it is still basically the same game it was 10 years ago. I can't really play it for long.

For 5 it's an absolute bargain though!

Completed Guacamelee last night - is it me or was the platforming up to Calaca nowhere near as hard as the platforming on the way to Jaguar? I mean it was still great fun but I was slightly disappointed the difficulty dropped. Still a 9.5/10 game for me though, absolutely fantastic. Anyone who hasn't got it yet should buy it straight away.

Considering whether to play through it again on hard now, it's not something I'd ever normally do but it's so brilliant that I'm really tempted to.

For those who have finished the game:
The 'Orb' you receive after beating Calaca - without telling me what it is, is there something special for collecting 4 of them?

So I definitely prefer Everybody's Golf to Virtua Tennis, but VT is the cheapest new game on the vita I've found, and its nice too - I had some GAME points (for registering on their app) and it took it down to something crazy like 3.60 ...
So ... get both ... but especially get PS Plus

@elhozzo Actually that's a point. I should check how many reward points I have.

I already have PS+ (main reason I bought a vita!) just waiting for a memory card to arrive in the post though.

EDIT - almost got 5 in GAME rewards, might as well! Has it got online leaderboards?

@aros There is a reward for collecting the orbs but it's not that great to be honest, if your a completionist it's not that hard to collect them all.

unlocks a happy credit sequence and I think something to do with your ability to jump

I'm looking to buy a Vita second hand- ebay or gumtree likely. As a PS+ subscriber ai'm not really interested in getting any games with it- just memory sticks.
Anyone any experience buying one second hand?

Whenever I've bought second hand handhelds I've gone into CEX and had a good look and feel of the units on offer before selecting the winner.

I bought a boxed one from Grainger Games a few weeks ago and it was 'as new'. Absolutely love the thing! :D I was able to 'fondle' it first to confirm it was all pretty-like.

Decisions, decisions! Someone offering me one with 4gb + 8gb cards, carry case and grip for 110... but collection only and it would be a 2 hour round drive!
Never really bought any hardware 2nd hand before so am thinking the extra cash is worth the piece of mind to see before I buy in CEX etc.

You can get brand new with soul sacrifice for 150 from game. How's that for peace of mind. Think they might still have the second hand deal for 95 on too. Sure you could fondle it in game?

@Help_me do you have a link for this as I can't see it?

I'm sure you can get good second hand vitas, but I don't like the idea of having a second hand console myself. I shelled out for the new vita at game and traded in soul sacrifice to discount it a little. But if you're not fussed about second hand hardware you can't argue with the 100 price tag at game online!

That's why you go to CEX. Some of the second hand systems they sell are as good as new.

My dsi XL was from CEX though, and my psp go! Both were minty.

So Game doing a new Vita plus game 149.99 vs CEX 134.99- really just wanted a decent memory card but I guess I can trade the game in against one. Anyone know if the 149.99 offer is instore also? And do Game sell pre owned memory cards?
    Thanks for all the advice.

@joesploggs Yeh, I bought the vita + game deal (149) in store this weekend. Soul Sacrifice, LBP or Uncharted (+30 days ps+). And yeh they do pre-owned memory cards. 35 for 16GB if memory serves me right, but it's very rare to find a 32 gb pre owned, anywhere really. Also the pre owned memory cards weren't out on display; I had to ask to see if they had any.

You'll get 18 trade in at cex for Soul Sacrifice, my local cex only had 8g cards and said it was very rare if ever they get 32g cards. In fact I couldn't get a 32g card anywhere in Middlesbrough. Had to order from amazon in the end.

Fantastic deal the game one. IMO

I paid 170 from Argos with LBP and a 4g card and was over the moon with that. Still am in fact :)

Asda selling 3 months ps plus for 9 too.

I wonder if we'll see a relaunch of vita, maybe a console refresh, to go with the PS4 launch.

Initial results from the JRPG Vita Twitter poll show that Tales of series localisations were the most mentioned (Tales of Hearts and Tales of Innocence topped the informal poll).

FF games came 3rd (Type-0 mostly), and Valkyria Chronicles came 4th.

Damn, that's a good deal. If I hadn't bought one a few weeks back I'd be all over that, as I intend to buy SS some time soon.

Loads of other bundle types as well, some strange pricing going on so buyer beware.

That price is crazy for how amazing the Vita is as a device. I can't believe people aren't all over it.

My Virtua Tennis games arrived from Game today. Very swift delivery.
Also picked up 3 x 3 month ps+ subs from Asda online for 9 a pop which turned up at the same time!

    Very pleased indeed :D
