    If i don't like the art style of P4G, just through looking at screenshots etc - am i going to be able to get past that and enjoy the game, or not?
  • Deleted user 10 May 2013 19:13:16
    I did so it is worth giving it a shot.

    Well worth it. I see what you mean by desert island game and i would agree but in real life i like my games having a conclusive end. Both are good and i'd recommend them both to any vita owner who likes RPG and strategy games.

    Just started Thomas Was Alone, to break up the intensity of Soul Sacrifice.

    What a brilliant game!

    Can't decide who I like more. Chris is just too grumpy, but then there's his thing with Claire... Maybe I like John best with his happy-go-lucky outlook :)

    Finished it last night, super game. Nothing taxing, just enjoyed the journey, music etc.. starting playing it again straight away when I saw there was a commentary track!

    Give yourself £5 or ½ gig, you're worth it.

    @H1ggyLTD

    To be honest the art style you see in screenshots and trailers isn't Representative of the every day game play. What i mean is the bright colours and splashing of yellow and sparkles everywhere really isn't that bad. In the actual dungeons they are themed and the real world game play is realistic, grey buildings etc.

    While iam a sucker for interesting and unique art style the main thing about Persona is the actual mechanics and game play. This is not one game where it has a unique look other than standard JRPG.

    (The menus are all yellow though if that bothers you)

    I tried the Sound Shapes demo today (with headphones on). Wow. Wowee! The Beck section I played felt really quite special. Will definitely get it at some point when the growing backlog is played through.

    Anyone else play knytts underground? Wow i just love this game. I never would of played anything like this before. The game is slow getting going, Chapter 1 & 2 are essentially just training levels and chapter 3 is where the game really shines. Hughly addictive and some really tough obstacles/puzzles to overcome along the way.Highly recommend. Ive sunk hours into this and have only about 33% of the rooms explored. Could do with some help on some of the rooms from anyone that's finished it.

    @jagg3r - conversely I thought chapters 1 & 2 were ok, but 3 was a huge nightmare. I ditched the game a few hours into chapter 3...

    @Flying_Pig Minecraft is nothing like Terraria. Other than the digging bit.

    There is quite a bit, most of which looks nice, but as ever, doesn't play as well as the main game.

    What they need is some genuine DLC, that doesn't revolve around a crap bike gimmick, and does involve new albums from top artists - Prodigy, Calvin Harris etc

    I realise how unrealistic that is.

    sonic racing transformed is on just about every console but on the vita, man, it feels good..
    it has a great amount of content, many hours of value.. and the frustratingly good challenge of gaining every star.. and it feels so immediate and responsive on the vita.. with the visuals and stereo sound right in your face.. it's really well done.. well done sumo and sega..

    on that note, monkey ball and virtua tennis 4 were brilliant,
    i'm really looking forward to the future vita sega releases.

    Any Persona experts around?

    Just started playing P3P, it is mega but a bit unsure about how to strengthen SLinks. I am talking to people in the dorm but I'm not sure what effect if any that's having, clubs haven't started yet but did some work in a café and some stats went up - is that the same thing or different?

    Stats is stats, Slinks are something else.

    You can't miss them. Don't worry about it just yet.

    Decided to go back to everybody golf again. Was upset to see I lost my saves as I deleted it pree cloud saving, nevertheless I a back up to gold again already, but once again the gold courses are just fucking stupidly hard.

    Still, amazing game though.

    I wouldn't recommend it. I found the sheer frequency of unavoidable battles, along with a dull battle system killed any enjoyment that I could have gotten from the story.

    @stoneskull Good to hear about Sonic, I've got it on my way to me from amazon along with my memory card and case. Glad its not just a port of the piss poor 3DS version.
