But cheers anyway - looks like a no go.
Shame, because those games would look great on Vita, yet not be enough to hold my attention on the big screen. -

Registered 9 years agoThose lego games do my head in.
Not collecting all the studs in a level offends all of my Mario trained impulses, yet having to smash every single plantpot to get at them is absolutely joyless.
So in many ways this one being shit gets me off the hook. -

Registered 7 years agoShame a few more peeps on here didn't buy PS All-stars. It's alot of fun in multiplayer and it offers something different to the usual shooty shooty stuff (not that there's anything wrong with a good shooter!).
Some EG Vita tournaments would have been ace

Registered 5 years ago@Progguitarist I wanted to like it but just couldn't. Something about the gameplay just didn't click with me, especially when compared to (dare I say it) Super Smash Bros. I found some of the characters in the game a bit odd too- some of which are hardly Playstation icons. Also- no Crash Bandicoot or Solid Snake really bugged me, although I'm aware of the whole licensing issues. Still, these two characters pretty much sum-up the original Playstation for me. -

Agree. Played the psp star wars and indiana jones lego on it and enjoyed them both a lot. This could have been awesome.
Do you think it is lazyness or devs still not sure what the vita is capable of? Maybe if Need for Speed had come out a while ago they would have known they could easily port the console version. -

Registered 8 years agoI think its "why spend millions of pounds developing a game for a specific console when nobody has bought the console".
The EA Madden dev said it would have taken a whole team to port the latest Madden engine to Vita, and they made the decision not to, rather than the console not being capable of the engine. -

Registered 8 years agoI was wondering if there were any major boxed releases for the Vita that I hadn't got around to trying. Curiosity. I know how a particular subset of you feel about Shinobido, but is Ninja Gaiden any good? I'm aware it's something of a classic but I wondered how the Vita version stacks up. -

Registered 5 years agoI think Ninja Gaiden is supposed to be a decent port. Quite tempted myself as I got about halfway through it on the 360 before the save file corrupted - was really enjoying it

Registered 7 years agoNinja Gaiden is great. If anything, I enjoyed it more than on the PS3. The visuals are super-sharp and the framerate is excellent, bar a couple of insignificant spots.
I also think it's a little easier than it was on the PS3. Anyway, I certainly recommend it if that's your sort of thing.PSN: DonOsito

Registered 6 years ago+1 Ninja Gaiden.
All the purists complaining that it was only 30fps, so the game was automatically rubbish. It was still an awesome game on my fourth playthrough with different systems. I think Grainger Games are selling it used for £12.99 if you're interested. -

Zavvi have it for £12.95 so you could get Ninja Gaiden, finish it and by the time Zavvi get around to dispatching it, get the best of both worlds.
And maybe consider Monkey Ball

Watch a couple of You Tube videos, you should be able to tell if it's for you. Most people on here that have tried it think it's good to great.
Have you played Tenchu before?PSN: Adwab2

Shinobido looks almost like Tenchu crossed with Monster Hunter; never given it any consideration before but I may well take a punt on it.
edit: also seems pretty rare these days; certainly hard to acquire at a decent enough price. Zavvi here we come!?
