incredibly helpful as always Santashi. Cheers

Suddenly the Vita seems to be heating up... plenty of interesting games on the horizon.

No problem, I've just been excited for VLR for ages. ;)

I currently have two Vita games winging their way to me in the post and a few more that I'm eyeing up for the Christmas period so the system certainly has me hooked still, at any rate.

Loving Street Fighter VS Tekken...it really is rather good. The ability to play online with ps3 owners means there are always local players to find.

@Gregolution Okay, on a computer now so here is the link to the thread: Virtue's Last Reward thread.

Some kind person cough on there also posted places where you can preorder the game.;)
This game hasn't been on my radar - but definitely is now! I should wait for Christmas for it, but wonder how freely available it'll be to buy...

I might just have to treat myself...

Vita isn't region locked, but if there is any DLC I don't think you will be able to access it. Have Virtue's Last reward on order myself as I didn't like the fact that the European version has no english dubs. As someone who usually moans about the substandard dubbing and will probably end up playing it in it's original version, I at least wanted the option to bitch about the awful voiceovers.

@JayG Have you watched the two versions of the intro OVA? I think I've possibly only said this once before about a dub (RomeoxJuliet is the only one that springs to mind), but I might actually prefer the English voices in this case. They're actually very good.

Continue to be very disappointed with the software for the Vita, mine is currently gathering dust.

Not playing on selling it or anything as I know the line-up will pick up eventually, but still...

There's a couple of games I have my eye on over the next 6 months and I'll be renting AC3: Liberation but nothing screams "must have" like Gravity Rush did.

I've not stopped playing it since launch - little (30 mins to an hour at a time) and very very often (most mornings). Admittedly it helps that I find Pinball Arcade and Zen Pinball to both be utterly utterly brilliant, plus never had a PS1 so have loads to catch up on.

Right now I'm hoping that most wanted on the vita has actually had some effort put into it and it sells because I get the strange feeling that if it doesn't do well EA won't bother with the vita any more.

I think something that has lessened its worth to me is that I don't take public transport to work and don't work in a business where I have to travel a lot/anywhere. Its portability has been severely underused by me, but even if I was out all the time there's still not enough titles that have my interest.

Don't get me wrong, it'll pick up and the Vita is getting a lot of advertising at the moment, which it perhaps needed more of at launch.

It looks very good based purely on the (badly shot) 'over the shoulder at E3' youtube videos I've watched. Like, really good.

But it's a bit odd that there doesnt appear to be any official trailers or videos showing in game footage.

I think that's because the Vita version is pretty much identical to the other versions and thus doesn't really need separate promotion.

If I connect my Vita to Wifi in another country will it bring up the British PSN store or the store of that country?

Would anyone like a 16GB memory card for 25 including P+P...?

... cheapest I could find (online) was a shy under 34 so, nearly ten pounds off if somebody is interested!

@santashi I was been facetious, actually looks (sounds?) great. I've never played the original game, and only have some vague idea about what this one is about. With this, Ass Creed 3 and Most Wanted on the way, next few weeks is looking great on the Vita. I probably would have ordered the 3DS version instead if the damn thing wasn't region locked.

@JayG I really would suggest playing 999, especially if you want something to play on your 3DS. It is worth it. :)

Even more tempting perhaps is the 10 price tag on copies of Wipeout 2048 in sainsbury's (Ashton, Bristol).

Well worth having for that price. It's still probably the best-looking game on the system.

I found the cornering near-impossible on some tracks but that's par for the course with me and Wipeout games.

I can't believe i wait so long before i bought wipeout 2048, but then again i'm not going to complain about picking it up for under 13 from shopto either.. I got to admit i do love the new tracks

Is it just me, or has there suddenly been a massive in-rush of new titles? I popped into my local store yesterday and came out with New Little King's Story, Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz (which, contrary to the EG review, I'm enjoying massively) and Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation.

@FarFromSane Awesome, innit? Best Wipeout game in a long time. Good to see online is still going too.
