Considering asking for a Vita for my birthday as I really enjoyed Little King's Story on the Wii.

But is there enough good stuff out or coming in the future to make this a worthwhile purchase?

    Yes totally.

It was perceived to not have many games as so many launched at the start, then slowed down a little but there is plenty of games now.

Known as 'Sharzam' in 98.5% of games

Another quick question: If I want to get MLB: The Show for it, how do I do that? Separate memory cards?

That, and a factory reset of the Vita every time you want to switch cards. You probably won't bother.

@SGMilne Just a side note, but importing physical copies of games is always an option as long as there isn't a network code or any DLC that you want. :)

And I think getting hold of a physical copy is going to be a bit of a bitch for the foreseeable future. Will probably be a digital version for me.
Shopto have it in stock. It's where I got my copy from. Link

honestly, PSP games got me bored after a short while, I hardly ever played games on the PSP. But I have put several hours into several games on the vita. It really satisfies you in so many ways.

It does replace a PS3 for me, when I'm travelling, or when the gf wnats to watch a programm on TV. I don't even miss the PS3 then, I just turn on the VITA and am happy.

Most of the times I can't even decide what to play, cause there are always 4-5 games I would have fun with

All good info guys; thanks very much.

What would be the most sensible memory card choice?

Played assassins creed liberation at eurogamer expo. Good fun, looks as good as uncharted. Really looking forward to it.

I went with 32GB straight off and haven't regretted it at all.

It really depends on how much you are intending to download games rather than buying physical copies. Some games are well under 1GB in size while Blazblue and Uncharted could take up most of a 4GB card on their own.

Physical games take up very little space, although patches can mount up on some games and there are also system updates. There are also games which don't get a physical release and you will either have to download or import if practical.

If you want to download a lot of PS1 and PSP games then I'd recommend going for one of the bigger cards.

The mission I played had a lot of variety, so hopefully this will extend to the full game.

    @SGMilne

I have a 16GB card and it works fine, although now struggling for space as i have a few games downloaded such as Gravity Rush, Wipeout, Everybody Golf and handful of PSP games. I would say avoid anything smaller as you would miss out on gems such as Sound Shapes.

I say get 16GB if your planning mostly retail purchases as you still have plenty of wiggle room, and get the 32Gb if you want to download a mainly.

@santashi yeah I take back my earlier reservations about assasins creed I am not a big fan of the demo but I can see it is a case of bad demo rather then bad game there are a lot of positives in playing it

I have a 16gb card and I've already had to delete things to make more room and yet I don't have music or video on my vita (have iPhone/pad for that)

Don't know if this is the case nationwide, but in my local branch of Blockbuster today, they have a big sale on, got Resistance for 20, MvC3 for 15 and Little Deviants for 5 all brand new, I noticed a load of other games with massive discounts aswell so get down there and check it out

Blockbuster are selling most of their Vita games cheap at the moment. A few I can remember are:

    Lumines 2: 13
    Gravity Rush: 13
    Rayman Origins: 10

What's the online capabilities of the vita? Is it basically the ps3 in your hand?

As in the dash layout, the PSN store. Can you chat in multiplayer etc.....
