    It wasn't *that* bad - was just the tip, and because the knife was so fucking sharp, it's closed up nicely already.

    I cut the end of my thumb off (above the well-chewed nail) with a blunt knife once. Can't even see where I did it now - fingers heal real good. I guess they have to, being in the front line.

    Blunt knife cuts hurt like a motherfucker, better to keep them sharp.

    Yeah - my dad slashed his index finger with a sushi-knife this chrimbo, and despite the wound being long and deep enough to warrant stitches, we decided to let it close up itself. Now there's barely a scar left.
