    Also, this remake will probably be very different to the original. Ultra-violence just isn't what it used to be.

    Other than people obviously having calculators strapped to their arms, it's not like it even looks that old either. It still holds its own, I think.

    Wonder if they will go with the original story, which was far less "action". Richard Dreyfuss was in talks to star at one point, it was more sci fi less action, then Arnie got involved and....

    They did but it was more Blade Runner the TV series than Total Recall, it wasn't too bad but ,as ever, got cancelled just as it hit its stride.
