    Well, in the end after making them for our family I had one with ice cream and maple syrup, one with lemon & sugar and one with banana and nutella.

    Then I had to crawl to the sofa to recover for a while.

    We probably should have skipped the main course, and just a couple more pancakes instead!

    If you can't find ready-made pancake batter on the shelves today then follow this so-simple-recipe:

    120g flour
    pinch of salt
    1 egg
    300ml milk

    mix all together in a bowl, then add big spoonfuls to a lightly oiled medium-hot pan.

    BAM! PANCAKES!

    Due to my oldest sons fondness of pancakes we eat it almost every day.

    I never use a recipe.

    One or two eggs (depending on wether or not I want some)
    Add flour and beat until peti choux thick.
    Some salt
    Milk until batter thick

    It's always a good idea to have too many eggs compared to milk flour.

    And for the love of god. Fry it in BUTTER: not oil. BUTTER!

    That makes more for the flavour than any other ingredient.

    we always skip dinner and just have the pancakes. more than enough calories there for a meal! just not much in the way of nutriton

    will get some nutella :-)
