I've been a Limmy addict for ages now but I can see why people wouldn't enjoy it I suppose... if you follow Limmy's Facebook and Twitter, for example, he's clearly genuinely bonkers :D

Are you saying Limmy's Show has a laughter track? It seems like that's what you're saying...

Is this the bit where it turns out anthonypappa was watching the wrong show? Limmy's Show certainly doesn't have a laugh track of any sort.

As for Burnistoun, Limmy's Show massively puts it in the shade. Limmy's Show is so much more creative and, well, funny than Burnistoun (which is essentially a classic sketch show, although that isn't that great a surprise since Florence and Connell worked on Chewin' the Fat). Saying that, when Burnistoun lands it really lands (the one-issue candidate who gets elected, for example).

I love Limmy's Show. I understand about 33% of what he's saying but I still love it.

On another note, if anyone's after any other sketch shows that are similarly creative/surreal then I can recommend Tim and Eric Awesome Show (surreal) and Mr. Show (creative - all the sketches link together for goodness sake!). I've probably mentioned them loads on here, but they really are outstanding. The influence of Tim and Eric on some of Limmy's Show is pretty noticeable (don't mean that in a bad way).

watch again... it's just limmy doesn't give them much to work with.

they are courtesy laughs, like when someone tells a shit joke.

So not only are you thick as fuck, you also hear laughter in your head? This is never an easy thing to ask but do either of your parents have downs syndrome?

Last night's episode was the first one I've watched this season - loved the scene where he was obsessing about what to say in the hairdressers.

No Dee-Dee or Jacqueline McCafferty though?

A little bump for this funny little show, discovered Limmy about six months ago watched them all in a marathon on Youtube and I'm watching them all again just because.

You can watch them all here.

    You better watch out.
    You better beware.
