Or fake an illness and be really upset that you had to cancel the great restaurant you'd booked, and promise to take her out next week.

Registered 2 years agoI'm off to Bruge with the missus on the Eurostar tommorow, normally I wouldn't do anyhting like this but I got a 50% off voucher for the Eurostar so thought why not.
Am in a bit of a quandry though. I know that she is going to fall asleep as soon as we get on the train. Do I take my PSP along with me to keep me company? Or is that a bit weird? -

Is it a trap?
I have ordered flowers to be delivered during the day, so will that make up for the fact I'll be out all night? Training on Thursday is naturally followed by a couple of shandies in the pub...When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Registered 5 years agoWell, we get to cuddle up after a nice meal out and see a film we're both wanting to see. We don't get go to the cinema without children in tow that much, so it ends up more romantic than it sounds.
Edit: not a bad idea, though I doubt the missus would be impressed. Do you still get porn cinemas?
I'd thought the rise of Redtube and its ilk would have wiped them out.

I know I should hate it, but any excuse to be extra nice to someone you really like is hard to be negative about, especially when there's expectation of something similar in return. (Not that we need an excuse, obviously).
Flowers purchased and tomorrow we're off to the seaside for bracing (fucking freezing) air and fish & chips \o/ -

Registered 7 years agoProblem solved - going to cook her a nice meal and take her out on the Saturday when it will be less busy. Also made a deal to go out in general more often. Live in the best city in the UK but we don't go on nights out nearly as often as we should.Pissy pants.
