Got out and about with the macro lens again, this time with a 2.5x lens adaptor on the front.|

Also went for a wander in the local park, saw this bad boy
Then this flew into the room I was staying in, while visiting Poland
|A lovely set there timo180. What an interesting landscape! Iceland is definitely on my 'to visit' list.|

Here's a few I took yesterday hand-held
|I know a few people on here like macro photography of insects, so just thought I'd pass on that this weeks Starbucks iTunes free givaway is an insect visual guide. Worth a punt for nothing|
New model from Fuji, the X-E1 has been announced. Same sensor as X-Pro 1 but EVF only.|
I like how the light really make the (plastic?) forhead implants stand out on the left. I wonder if you could have made the one on the right (picture right) look less like a blemish by changing the lighting some how. |
Other than that I have to say that it helps to have such an interesting subject to photograph. It satisfies the usual urge to stare at people with tons of facial piercing.
Are the earlobes painted red or did that really hurt?
If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

Edit- apparently it will be launched with the latest firmware, said to improve focusing a lot. The x pro 1 will get it too.

I took a few, that was just the one she wanted to be able to put it on her tumbr account today, but I was playing around with shots from different angles and lighting.
And the lobes, they go that colour naturally due to the stretching over time, it's taken her 6 or so years to get that big and circulation is always something to be mindful of, especially when it's cold.
|Makes the X-Pro 1 a bit pointless if you ask me unless you really want an OVF. Now I've had X100 for a while I very very rarely use OVF.|
|Biggest problem with my X100 is that it makes images from anything else look as soft as shite. Struggling to love the D5100 I bought too. The 35 1.8 prime is OK but the kit lens really is a shocker. One thing Olympus got right with the Pen's is the kit lenses, they really are very good.|
|Well then. Sony RX1 has been leaked. A compact with a full frame sensor...|
|Blimey, if they put half as much effort into that as they did the RX100 then there will be no point to Leica for anyone but the champagne Ferrari crowd.|
|Oh arse. How compact? I only got my RX100 a week ago|
|Also rumoured to be $3,000 so don't panic yet over your RX100. With things like this and Fuji X series I don't see how Leica can expect to be around in 10 years time, and they don't deserve to be with some of the nonsense they produce. The branded Lumix's are insulting and the X1 and X2 are overpriced baubles. What's the betting the M10 will have yet another 2005 spec screen on the back?|
|Well that full frame compact is now official and looks very impressive. Even more shocking, Sony have made some new NEX lenses!|
Useful ones too - WA zoom in particular. And the 35mm f1.8. And a very compact kit zoom...
edit - the WA zoom is both large and expensive. Maybe not then

Bloody hell. One of my photos will be hanging in a West End gallery in October! Well chuffed. |
