Any suggestions for good two player games? Not two player as in over t'internet. Rather something for me and my missus to play together.

I guess you've got tennis, table tennis and footy games but what else? Any good side-scrollers? Anything really.

    Cheers.

buy an AV8R-02 stick for HAWX and Ace Combat 6 and she can be your number 2, watching the radar for you. Get helmets and sit one in front of the other.

or Forza 2, she can be co-driver. Again, helmets, and give her a clipboard with circuit diagrams and gear charts.

If you can get your GF into Left 4 Dead I'd recommend that as a good 2 player game

Absolutely. Its awesome fun. You start playing and suddenly its 4 hours later. Also brings a slightly more tactical element to the madness as you can each use different weapons to deal with different aspects of the mission.

Some good stuff there. Think we'd need to stick with games that don't involve having to make decisions any faster than a rate of one a second though, or anything requiring driving skills. I know that probably rules out 50% of games on the 360 but all suggestions appreciated.

EDF and Halo 3. They're both top fun in 2 player.

Halo 3, Gears 1&2 and Lego Star Wars are some of the best offline co-op games I've played

Also Rock Band if you wanna stump up a bit of cash, but its well worth it IMO

I love the HAWX suggestion. I'm sure someone, somewhere, does that.

Another nod for Castle Crashers, and N+ also - although my girlfriend gave up on that when it got too hard. Some good co-op-only levels though.

Fable II's quite a nice one, coz you can both play it in single-player and then help each other out in multiplayer, too. Plus you're both achieving something as you play co-op.

Me and my bruv have regular armt of two sessions, and my mates missus is bang into left for dead, both superb offline multiplayers.

    Whassamattayou, whyoulookasosad, itsanicaplace, itsanotsobad, heyshaddupayourface.

The other game me and missus play isn't on 360. All you need is a fake 70's moustache, a set of overalls and a toolbox. Then come in pretending to be there to fix the washing machine or something.............

The Tiger Woods games. Works well with my GF anyway. And obviously the Rock Band / Guitar Hero games.

No racing games, I know, but you still might try the Burnout series. It doesn´t really need much driving skill... even *I* can play them!

/sucks at Gran Tourismo and the like

oooh you are cruising for a bruising there Mr! *shakes fist angrily*

Actually, women seem to be quite bloody good at L4D from what I have found - even ones who haven't played much at all before.

    I bloody love it.

Other than that I'd go for Geometry Wars Evolved which you can play single player and weep as she beats your scores, or play two player cooperatively, which is really good fun. It's a great game, cheap too.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
