That yellow card for Sharples was ludicrous, especially coming just after the Fofana incident. Rolland gets worse every year.

Registered 3 years agoIm still not entirely sure why Rolland is allowed to referee french games?.
After his performance for the Wales game at the World Cup and now his performance against England, it cant just be fans of those teams who are raising an eyebrow???
Can the fact that he is half-french really be ignored???"Look at banner Michael!"

Registered 6 years agoRoll on Saturday - Me and the (Irish) wife off to Twickenham for England v Ireland AND it's St. Paddy's day! Grandparents have little man so we are going to 'have a few'.
Should be a good game - Strettle back for England and looking forward to seeing Morgan in action. -

Registered 10 years agoI hope the other two games are better than that.
Also, probably time to retire that referee. Too much wittering on. Just lay out your expectations of the players and then consistently punish them until they behave, they're like overgrown children!
At least there weren't 20 minutes of scrumtime under his governance, this week I suppose. -

Registered 7 years agoWales played really well today and made sure their destiny was in their own hands. Well deserved! Also happy Italy won as my cousin plays for them - but honestly that was a pretty poor game.3DS: 5241-1899-2292

Registered 7 years agoThat was tough to watch. Well done to England, they are playing much better (and much more attractive) rugby this year. Looks good for next year.
Congrats to Wales too, easily the best of the bunch despite not clicking fully at times.
Alas for Ireland, it could be the end of a great era. -

Registered 9 years agoDidn't watch much of the England Ireland game but from what I did see it looks like the golden age of the Irish is over. They'll need to transition just like England are now and Wales 6months earlier.
England are looking good as much as it hrts to say. But all that matters now is that Wales are the Grand Slam winners and I can't wait for the summer! -

Registered 6 years agoBitterly bitterly frustrating to see Wales lose it in injury time - devastating stuff.
Equally for the Irish too.
The Southern Hemisphere sides always find that extra something don't they
Oh well - some clear signs the gap may be closing. Next weekends tests are all for pride now

Definite improvement for the Sprinkboks this week. Which was expected but still good to see them look really hungry. Another try now, looking ominous for England now...

Registered 5 years agoWell last week was at sea level. This week they are up on the veldt, the English would always struggle there so I expected a great game, but this is just incredible. -
The Boks are completely overpowering the saes.... Again.
They are going to have to dig deep here."Assimilate this!" cried Worf, firing a space bazooka at the Borg.
