After 78 pages, a more certainly beneficial move would be locking this thread and stop giving cunting Dacre free hits. The only way the world will ever truly be free of the Mail is to stop buying, and stop clicking. However much fun it is to read their bullshit and tell everyone on here what bullshit it is, only the click is important, only the click actually changes anything, and for the worse. Multiply this thread by the several thousand other old-farts internet support groups, and you have enough advertising spend to cover a whole Littlejohn.

    STOP THIS MADNESS etc etc

Wonder what it was like to be in the Daily Mail offices when this article was written.

Pietersen played cricket at a charity match hosted by Shane Warne and Liz Hurley at the weekend. Couldn't get a photo of all three together? No problem, just photoshop them all in

The Daily Mail rocks. Much more interesting than the stale and staid Guardian.

Gamers are outraged over a rape joke made during an Xbox presentation
Fumble occurred during a demonstration of video game 'Killer Instinct'
Microsoft have apologized claiming the banter between the two was unplanned

    -----

Clue is.. there was no rape joke.

Paul Dacre is a little bit happier, and a little bit richer, every single time someone clicks the link above. Think on.

    Abracadabra Thread Fixio!

Wow, that's one shocking article, even for them. I suppose it's fair to have heart problems if you're playing the terrible Sonic the Hedgehog game for Xbox 360 on your hybrid Xbox One PS4, especially if you've not had a heart screening which for some reason they imply should be mandatory for Asperger's.

On the plus side, since he was playing Sonic the Hedgehog on this Xbox One, Daily Mail has inadvertently confirmed backwards compatibility, which is good news.

"Jake, who had Asperger's Syndrome, had not had heart screening, which has not been made compulsory by the government.
His mother has now joined charity Cardiac Risk in the Young in calling on the government to make screening mandatory in young people."

Aren't the Daily Mail usually against the nanny state - which is how some might view compulsory heart screening...?

Suspicious...I wonder what happened to his XboxPS4 hybrid machine pictured - surely "they" wouldn't allow news of that to get out?

I like how they have a picture of the original Xbox there. Good to know the Mail still keeps up with its thorough and detailed research.

They've changed it in the last hour! Previously it was an XBOX One with a PS4 standing behind it!

Give them another hour and some more abuse and it'll change to a 360...

I suppose it could've been Sonic Heroes or that compilation of Mega Drive games. Thankfully the article was also fixed* so it no longer tries to blame the game rather than the undiagnosed heart condition he most likely had.

    *It wasn't

The way that they single out the Xbox in the article makes me wonder if Microsoft would have a case here of defamation, as it's written in a way that singles out a particular console.

Rockpapershotgun have written an excellent response piece to the article:

And why? Because papers like the Mail churn this shit out. Not just the Mail obv, and not just the papers, but they have a part, no doubt.
