    Talented bastards.

Was it knob after knob joke for 25 minutes?

    these are all great shows
peep show being ultimate, of course.
    spaced is also unbearably funny
"Mike, don't let them dress you up like a giant cock"
    inbetweeners also hilarious
    anyone watched black books?

oh, and the it crowd has its moments, but can also be painfully unfunny...
the 'turn it off and on again' gag is wearing thin.

    Green Wing was awesome.

You said it so I don't have to :D The whole dwarf murdering and subsequent events was genius. Also SUE WHITE.

I've only seen the first episode of Inbetweeners and thought it was a only vaguely amusing. I guess it picks up a bit judging by the love?

Hmmmm, not sure whether this could be sustained over ninety plus minutes. Each episode, although hilarious, is pretty much exactly the same.

    Boys get into a problem
    Meet someone fit
    Problem becomes farcical
    Lots of knob jokes

    Rinse, repeat.

    Beautiful tender beings.

In answer to OP... no. It has it's amusing parts and if I'm utterly bored I'll watch it. But it's no Spaced, Father Ted or Alan Partridge.

The Inbetweeners is decent but I preferred Off The Hook.

Oh and Peep Show is the best comedy since Spaced, no contest.

No. I just prefered Off The Hook's uni setting asposed to the college setting in the In Betweeners and it's just funnier.

Yeah bought the series 1 & 2 before on itunes for a tenner. Seen it before, my middle brother bought the DVD and lent it to me earlier in the year, but this is hilarious!

Don't compare this to any other comedy, just enjoy it for what it is.

Yep, I initially didn't like it after one or two episodes, I found the characters annoying, but it is pretty great I now have to admit and the characters are very likeable after all. It has good pedigree too, the writers have worked on Peep Show and Flight of the Concords.

Quality! Just finished re-watching this over the past week. It cracks me up every time. And then you get the episode when Jay actually gets a proper girlfriend and I get something in my eye, until,

"...and...my...c*ck was just too massive for her...BOOOHOOOO!"

and then it's back to laughing.

    THIS SPACE FOR RENT

Even without sound that looked great.

The fish punching episode is still my favourite.

Mr Gilbert a.k.a Greg Davies is up for the Fosters (formerly Perrier) award at the fringe this year. He's also just done a curiously disturbingly funny show on BBC3 called "The Klang Show" with his "We are Klang" buddies. Worth a watch, think it's still in iplayer.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Greg Davies was actually a teacher. I'm not sure whether that's awesome, terrifying, or both.

Both I think. I wish he had been my teacher, but that's impossible as he's only a year older than me. We could pretend though.

It's odd that even though he's such a tosser, you end up really feeling for him when he gets dumped in that episode.
