Maybe that's the issue with Hamilton and Rosberg. They need to fuck to get all that sexual tension out the way.

Would have to sacrifice their points from Abu Dhabi, though.

I did. Seems you want more recognition. Well done, good job. I don't know what else I can say to you to show my appreciation.
God, now I'm the one who should let it go.

You didn't accept I was right, not that that was my heart's desire, you said:

"Four times. You are going to deduce from that that he wouldn't have won his four championships?"

What got me to respond was you put words into my mouth. I said absolutely nothing about his 4 championships. You asked me a question, I replied, sorry.

I did say you were right: Four times he's beaten him this season. But there was a context to the original comment which is what we were talking about... no comment can be made regarding Vettel's past WCs.

Don't worry, I know you are correct, my snowflake.

I think the receiver might be at a bit of a disadvantage, aerodynamically speaking, thereafter though ;)

Bleh. Only 20 points this weekend. Those Mercs messed things right up for me....

Although i got Gutierez right for most positions gained. Go figure.

@Mekanik 23 for me. Lowest of the year so far.

Gutierrez was still classified as a finisher, despite being 6 laps down. I think the cut off if 10% of the race distance.

Off to Le Mans today. Wish I was more excited but things have been fucking weird for me lately.

Still, hopefully I'll get into it when I'm over tehre.

Horrific looking crash being reported from le man's practice. The peugeot #1 has pretty much been destroyed. Incredibly reports are that the driver survived, further reports unclear on injuries currently.😱😞

Have you seen the pictures on Eurosport of the wreckage? How anyone got out of that alive is amazing. Apparently he only has grazes!

@shamblemonkee Amazing that he seems basically ok. From the pic you posted it took me a while to work out that it was the back of the car. Catch fencing to the left must have taken a serious impact.

Fuck me, that's a big one. Glad he's ok.

In related news I really hope Toyota finally manage to crack the race this year.

Did you see the Nissan ZEOD do its all-electric lap? I've got a somewhat vested professional interest in it.

Have they done it? I thought they were waiting for the race proper to do the battery powered super lap.

It'll be interesting to see how they translate all the ZEOD stuff into their LMP1 car.

Yep, my mistake. They did 24 laps, but not the electric lap.

Are you involved in the drive train stuff on the car then?

Garage 56 is certainly one of the more interesting things the ACO has done in recent years. The electric lap seems to be garnering more mainstream interest than the race itself.

edit: Looks like the ZEOD managed the first electric lap in warmup this morning.

Not specifically just the drive train, but I did consult on their engineering work at the beginning of the year.

Although - as the article says - Ferrari always moan and threaten to leave when they are losing, he's got a point. A large proportion of the races are dull as ditchwater with xxx disappearing off into the distance and the rest having their "one go a lap" DRS system based pass attempts. The sport is too expensive now and so there have to be rules, but there are I think too many and I do agree that saving tyres and petrol does makes a "race" a bit boring.

I think the single best and easiest thing they could do is ban in car radios. Get back to the boards being hung over the pit walls and drivers having to think for themselves rather than a team of computer fixated geeks telling them what to do. Also remove some of the in car aids that make the driving too "drive by rails" and show us which of the drivers actually has the raw skill and the strategic mind to win.
