A roadblock that accelerates out of sight just as you get to it. Great setup from them

I do think Ferrari made a big big mistake with Raikkonen next year.

@altitude2k I particularly enjoyed the roadblocks two overtakes on Hamilton. ;-)

Behind Seb, I thought it was a entertaining race.

Ah it's fine. It's about the only track where they'll have that sort of benefit, so it was good they took the advantage while it was available.

I think Vettel should be less upset by any booing now, when the bigger concern is simply that noone actually cares about him anymore. Total, Infiniti and Siemens must be irritated by the lack of TV exposure their advertising is getting.

3 race ending shunts in a row. Wonder if he'll blame the car like he did in Singapore.

Reminds me of the dark days of Schumacher dominance

edit; even if Vettel wins the Championship with 4-5 GPs to go, I can't see him letting off the gas (no pun intended), I don't think it'll really work like that.

But it's like I said above, no one really cares what he's doing anymore. The fun stuff is all going on behind him, and that's what people will tune in for. I think that's reflected in FOM's broadcasts.

Di Resta needs to finish the season strong otherwise he'll be out on his ass with a reputation of not being able to handle the pressure of racing for a contract.

I don't think Vettel sponsors will be that bothered about not being featured in the race when the podium pictures will be all over the world's newspapers and sports shows later today.

Hulkenberg. Awesome race. Stick him in a Mclaren or Lotus for next year ffs.

Korean marshalls.... Mrs Mek was pissing herself at that one.

Vettel dominant again. At least everything that happens behind him is good to watch.

I am damned sure Red Bull paid Sutil to run in to Webber. ;) Worst luck in the world.

If you ignore the Vettel part of it that was a good race.
    Amazing drive from Hulkenburg especially.

And I must admit I sniggered to myself when Di Resta crashed again.

So much so the championship actually looks like this. Fernando looks on course for a 3 title ;)

    1 Fernando Alonso 195
    2 Kimi Raikkonen 167
    3 Lewis Hamilton 161
    4 Mark Webber Aus 130
    5 Nico Rosberg Ger 122
    6 Felipe Massa Brz 89
    7 Romain Grosjean 72

Decent race behind vettel yesterday. Still can't understand Mercedes 'Mclaren' impersonation with keeping lewis out for so long though. Sauber/hammy battle was good.

Anyone know what's going on at Mercedes? They've just sent a tweet denying "internet reports". Sounds interesting. I've not seen any internet rumors...

Think it's to do with Brawn maybe leaving at the end of the season.

I was at Silverstone this weekend to see this incredeble race!

That's the closest 1st and 2nd I'm likely to ever witness. I bought a jacket to commemorate it ;D

I was on Autosport's website this morning and they had an advert for Mclaren's MP4-12 C. Apparently there are thousands of them for sale in the UK. Just the sort of car you see populating a a traffic jam during rush hour.

I know you sort of have to have one for any top end sport, but the ego and arrogance on Hamilton is astonishing. This comment reminds me a lot of his "monkeys at the back" comment where he showed absolutely no respect to his fellow racers.

Me and Fernando in fifth and sixth at the end having our own little race, yet we are of a higher calibre than that. We should be further ahead fighting with the World Champions at the front and with Sebastian.
He needs to make his mind up. Either he's so good he can win without the top end cars or realise that he needs a top end car to win... same as about half of the rest of the field.

Prbably not the most thought through statement he's ever come up with, but I don't mind top sports stars backing themselves. In 2009 he said he'd consider his career wasted if he only won 1 world title. It's sort of a shame he left McLaren this year, I reckon we'd of had some superb quotes from him given the unbelievable backwards step they've managed to take.

He's an absolute arsehole. I wish him no success whatsoever. I'm not a fan of British sportspeople in general as they are usually fawned over, shoved down our throats and massively over-hyped in this country, but Hamilton is by far the most loathesome. He should count himself lucky he's had the chance to drive for 2 of the top teams in the sport and has a world championship to his name, because in reality he isn't as good as either him our media would like you to believe.

Somewhat harsh, but I agree with the general sentiment. He's a good wheel-to-wheel racer and can pull out some outstanding pace, but I don't think he has shown the necessary bottle to be considered a true great; his attitude seems too inconsistent.

He's good, but he's not 'would beat everyone by 30 seconds a race if the conditions were right for him' good like a lot of people like to claim. He's extremely tempremental and stroppy, his arse seems to drop a lot under pressure and he's never really shown any consistency other than his first season. He's a bit of an enigma. The sort of driver that will show up and dominate the odd race in the right car, but can't keep it up for more than a couple of races in a row.

This would be ok in isolation, but he has to go and open his mouth after every other race and make me hate him even more.

He's certainly not the talent that the media would have you believe he is.

I think he is one of a select few talents in F1. Not a fan of his personality but talent wise I'd put him in with Alonso and Vettel.

Lol at the above comments. You only need to look at his races and results in the lower formulas to see how good he is. F1 is a terrible formula to judge someone's true talent in.
