Ha, yeah. She looked like she was genuinely grateful to have him there. Sort of like some backup behind enemy lines.

I think she's Ok. Finding her feet. How she finds them in those heels she wears though, phew. The FIA should ban them from the pit-lane.

I like her. Thought she was good as a moto gp presenter.

Problem might not be her, but the production team. Going back to the tennis stuff (havn't read through it yet), they came under fire because they had people like boris becker, McEnroe, and Henman dumbing down everything, even though they all been there and done it. They normally insightful people.

Anyone watch the Lauda Hunt documentary last night on BBC2? . I Really enjoyed it. Only an hour long, and i found it quite engaging.
Missed it, only noticed it was on near the end, hopefully it's available online.
BBC had another good F1 doc a year or 2 ago about all the deaths and saefty issues inthe 60s and 70s which was a good watch too.
FWIW, BBC4 showed that docu straight after the one on BBC 2 so both should be up on iPlayer (not checked yet mind you).

Regarding Perry, it's a shame she can't wear her leathers to F1 legitimately.

I've never understood the fascination most blokes seem to have with Perry. She's very average looking and a shit presenter. They need to nick Rachel Riley off Countdown :)

My annoyance this season has been (as well as Red Bulls continued dominance) Suzi Perry. I'm not sexist but I think she breaks up that fun dynamic that Jake Humphries, Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard had. I just find her monotone, terrible choice for presenting.
Couldn't agree more. It's nothing to do with her sex, when Lee McKenzie lead some of the F1 races when Jake was off I thought she was great, why they didn't give her the job I don't know. Suzi is not rubbish or terrible, but she isn't great and is pretty annoying to watch...STOP MOVING YOUR HANDS ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Infact I was talking with a friend at the weekend who attributed him watching less F1 this season to her. He's not a die hard fan but enjoyed all the pre-race bits with the three guys, and now those bits are a lot less fun he's stopped watching it as much.

She did a great job at MotoGP presenting. She seemed to know her stuff (or at least know more than me watching occasionally) and have a genuine passion for the sport. Hopefully the latter will come to her F1 coverage as she gets to know it better.

Plus, she's started covering MotoGP a few years ago now, if you know what I mean.

Suzi Perry would be infinitely better if she stopped wearing her fucking sunglasses on her fucking head like a fucking prat on every fucking show as it really fucking annoys the fucking shit out of me.

    What's happening there?

I would have liked to have seen the UK MOTO GP there, but I'm away that weekend.

I'm quite glad I couldn't work it out now. I think if you know that Hamilton has a dog called Roscoe, you haven't got enough going on in your life.

Just watched the Hunt vs Lauda thing on iPlayer. Fascinating season - although I would have preferred to see more racing. Lauda's accident was seriously nasty, but his recovery miraculous. I can't imagine and modern F1 drivers doing the sane and returning so quickly.

Also done dodgy stuff going on with Ferrari and the FIA...
