Just looks like a damaged section to me. Why the hell would that guy go and bend it like that otherwise?

Vettel fasted by quite a bit with Hamilton second also by quiet a bit.

Looks like a 2 horse race possibly.

See how the next practice goes.

Way too early for predictions like that. Track is completely virgin and there's at least another full to come off that time, if not more.

Drivers predict little passing, Pirelli admit they've been conservative and it will be a one stopper. What a potential massive fuck up. Why have Pirelli lost their bottle in second half of the season?

Seems that they've painted out those ridiculous stars on the runoffs at the COTA circuit. Obviously it wasn't just me who thought they looked completely out of place.

I actually really like how the lines look on their own. Far more subtle.

Looks like a great track although I'm not a massive fan of twisty sections that gradually get slower rather than faster

And another incident for Perez. Wonder if McLaren are having regrets?!

I like it. I think the twisty bit is trying to be an uber version of Becketts, Maggots, Chapel complex from Silverstone.

Lewis is rather special, isn't he? Very good decision as well, based on continued reliability issues of that McLaren.

Yeah typical prodigious laps there from Hamilton I reckon. Vettel looked like he had at least half a second in the bag this weekend. Alonso seems to be losing it a bit mentally

Haven't you heard? According to Alonso he's as relaxed as he has been all season.......

Really shows with all the handwaving at anyone who dares to be on the same racetrack as him.

I think Alonso might have finally snapped:

As always, the race is tomorrow. I still think that tomorrow we are going to reduce the gap to Sebastian, which is what counts.

He starts from pole and he has a very strong pace, but the race will be long and let's see if we can seize our opportunities. We'll see how the start goes. If he wins the race and then wins again in Brazil he will be Champion and deservedly so.

As I said, for whatever reason, I have the strange feeling that tomorrow we will reduce the gap.
Unless they're planning on having Massa just drive straight into him or having someone throw tacks on the track.

Well, he's got form for good predictions. Maybe Bernie tells them all what to do beforehand? :D

WDC decided with a sigh it seems, rather than drama. If there is any drama, it'll probably take the form of Malolnado taking out Alonso, or Grosjean forgetting to use the brake pedal.

Think Alonso has to be positive, and to be fair he's kept this championship alive with a pretty poor car so who is to say whether or not he can close the gap.
