Registered 4 years agoThat final position was not representative of Vettel's driving at the start of the race. Plenty of luck.
So disappointed for Lewis. Cannot catch a break. -

Registered 11 years agoGet the feeling that those taking digs at Vettel just don't like him. He could be driving Lada around winning and you'd still say he is jammy. How do you get from last to third without having a bloody good drive? Yeah the safety car helped, but he still had to get up there. Still had to over take Jensen. Still had to make up for his early fuck ups.
Great for Kimi, but if you're going to throw luck around, he got it too with Lewis falling to the side.

Registered 4 years agoHe's on the brink of becoming a triple world champion and he's severly lacking in standout performances. He must have the least interesting or exciting top 10 list of race wins of any driver, other than Massa, if Massa has won 10 races.

Having, arguably, the fastest car out there and gaining massively from two safety cars isn't amazingly impressive. Kimi did that pretty much every other weekend in 2005.

Why isn't Webber winning the title?

Registered 9 years agoThere's rarely a need for "memorable performances" (whatever criteria it is that you require for this) when you regularly out perform the rest of the grid, consisting of a number of other world champions, from start to finish. -

I didn't say he wasn't faster than Webber. I don't dislike the guy, he's just no where near as impressive as Hamilton/Alonso/Raikkonen, and yet he's on the verge of being the most successful.Raiko101 wrote:

Oh it's an impressive result. But whether you like him or not, you really can't say that his driving at the beginning of this GP was that of a two time champion. No better than some of the midfield dodgems.

Registered 11 years agoConsistency is part of being a good driver. Doesn't matter if Lewis is great for half a race, if he keeps fucking up. Granted not today, but certainly earlier in the season.

McLaren, plenty of errors and reliability, but Lewis himself has been just as determined and consistent as Alonso. -

Apologies, the 2011 season, not this season.
