RB could at least try to hide the fact that they wish there cars were the other way round. Glum faces allround. Even from Webber!

I don't fancy either of their chances considering how quick Alonso can be off the line.

Vettel or ham will be in p1 by turn 4. Alo just behind them and webber in about 9th :)
  • Deleted user 13 October 2012 12:15:15
dunno ham seems to bog down as much as webber does. the whole right side of the quid will lose out to their incompetance with starts :) hope not though.

Anyone taking bets for how many people Grosjean punts at the start? Maldonado must be loving the little Frenchman as it's taken the heat off him from the start of the season.

The layout leaves plenty of potential for carnage in the first sector. Last years start was pretty exciting.

Forgot the predictions again! I'd have had Vettel for pole/win.

I can see it being Vettel, Hamilton, Webber after the first section, but as it appears McLaren went for race setup I can see Hamilton getting past Vettel.

I think both titles were decided today, which is a shame. I think people are forgetting what a shed the Ferrari was at the start of the season. McLaren need to change something in their team, they can build a great car but they don't operate properly as a team.

Great race from Hulkenburg again, made Di Rest-home look even more average.

One of the dullest races of the year at the front for sure

There was at least some action further back, I've seen far worse races than that one. Probably best if Lewis doesn't look at what Mercedes 'achieved' this weekend.

Watching Hamilton race other cars was actually a lot of fun I thought, looking forward to that next season. Crazy he was the one to get the astro passenger!

Pleased for Massa, glad to see he seems to be getting his morale back. Also seems to stop Alonso banging on about how the car is so crap too.

Can anybody compile a top 10 greatest race wins for Vettel? For a soon-to-be triple world champion, it has got to be the least exciting top 10 for any grand prix driver that has won 10 or more races.

yeah front end of the grid racing as been quite dull for a while now. there doesn't seem to be any 'charges' from the top 5/6. Once you get a gap, its easy to maintain it.

Vettel is the ultimate hot lapper and with Newey and the whole RB team on his side he's had his three titles way too easily. As a racing driver he's just average, I want to see him spend a year or two driving a shitbox like this years Mercedes.

Now seems certain that Massa is staying put, and the Hulk is off to Sauber. The Scottish dullard is staying put.

The best thing Ferrari could do with Massa is drop him. It took him getting threatened with the door to produce a couple of decent performances in the last month or so, and let's be honest, if it wasn't for his accident he would have left the team already.

But if the rumours of Vettel going to Ferrari in 2014 are true they want a driver for 2013 only, might as well stick with Massa. Not sure about those rumours myself, doesn't seem the Ferrari way to have two number one drivers.

The only way that's true is if Alonso is retiring at the end of 2013, which doesn't seem likely on current form but who knows with him?
