An hour plus of P2 remaining; it's looking really shitty out there. Which is great. !

At least I've built a coping mechanism for that 'Sponsored by the 1-2-3 current account from San tan Derrrrrp' advert now.

I'd worn out my patience for it the first race!

BBC feed; none of that! I can still hear the Def Lepperd music from the ITV days.

Getting ready to head up to the mudbath that is Silverstone. Wonder if they'll end up cancelling the race on the Sunday, if it comes down like it did today?

Those who are going - have fun. Spare a thought for our old Alonso-hating chum FooAtari, while you're there. :)

Sat in the car for two hours now and not even moved out the space. Starting to wish they would just cancel the whole thing.

Yeah we sat in the field for 2 hours after fp2 ended before traffic started moving, was fine once we were out of the circuit though.

no way they'll cancel the race.

i do expect plenty more stuck cars and flooded campsites though

Telling people not to go now if they don't have parking booked.

Crap, but I'm not really sure what they could do bar tarmacing a load of fields or cutting the capacity by half. Mainly I think it's just unfortunate to have a months worth of rain in 2 hours!

Got out of the car park after three hours in the end.

I think the lack of information was by far the most frustrating thing, all around the circuit they have signs advising you to listen to the radio and then when you're stuck and tune it in they're playing crap 80's hits.

I've got pre booked park and ride so going to give it another go tomorrow, hopefully it will be far less stressful.

yeah the total lackof parking helpers in the avo didn't help, just need someone directing and informing for a start. the fields were a free for all

You'd think that if they can organise a load of multi-million pound prima donna-driven cars going at 200 mph for 90-odd minutes that they could organise a decent car parking system.

I can imagine, luckily we were on hard car park near the wing. The lack of stewarding definitely added to the problems. Queues were being formed at random and all trying to merge at one bottleneck. It would only have taken a couple of stewards to make everything so much simpler.

Are you serious!? I've been to coffee mornings with parking attendants!

I can't see many people heeding that 'advice' to stay away.

This could turn into a very interesting weekend indeed!

Does anyone know what happened to them building a proper grandstand opposite the new pitlane complex? Looks terrible at the moment.

Okay, seriously. Someone has definitely paid Sky F1 to mention the London GP, that's been about an hour of footage and discussion dedicated to it over the weekend already.

Now that BBC has an HD online player, I think I'll be watching every possible race live with them.

Are you sure the beeb hasn't too? Having said that, Santander is a massive common denominator between the London gp thing and skyf1!

I will watch the racing/qualifying on sky though, Ted Kravitz and Brundle are important!

    Busy track!

GOD DAMNIT, that's very unfortunate for Button!

Don't think the yellows had anything to do with it. Think the 3rd sector got much wetter towards the end. On the live timings everyone was struggling in that final sector. Jenson missed the window of best conditions

Yeah if it keeps raining for another couple minutes I can see this getting a Red.

    WOW Alonso! You lucky fucker!

Nah this is going to get a Red VERY soon at this rate.
