Are mclaren the only team not sending their race drivers to the test? Seems a bit odd

Registered 8 years agoYeah according to the schedule I saw, mclaren are the only team (bar HRT of course) who don't have one of their race drivers there for at least one day of the test. Confidence or sufficatingly inflexible and pedantic? -

I can understant using the test drivers - after all they do most of the sim work i guess. but surely both drivers need some time to understand the tyres and new parts (if any)PSN - Cloudsheaven

Registered 8 years agoMissed sounds like a good season so far though. I spent my sunday thinking how glad i was to not have booked tickets for the Thruxton BTCC round this year.
Some cracking races, especially the Porsche race later in the day - started on slicks on a damp track and then it started to rain again. Some brilliant catches and slides with a really tense finish at the front. -

Mclaren v red bull for pole, everyone else a bit back I think. Ferrari will be a bit closer but still out of the top three. Lotus....who knows -

Registered 8 years agoYeah, in the times when it was difficult to overtake anyway, catalunya was one of the worst - teams know the track too well. Slightly different era now though. Webber got pole last year didn't he? -
