Brave thing to say after 3 races but Vettel has no chance of the title this year. Flame me in November!

Registered 8 years agoI think I managed 5 points if I'm lucky.
Enthralling race though, just a shame Kimi didn't have either the tyres or confidence in them for a proper charge at the end. Not quite sure what Rosberg was up to as he's normally a pretty clean driver and not usually found crowding folks off the track. That said, it's always funny listening to Alonso get wound up. -

Registered 8 years agoThats a point. What will/should there be any, punishment for Rosberg (or Ham/Alonso for that matter)?
Cant really see hamilton being punished for going off track when Rosberg did the same to Alonso, and seems a bit pointless punishing Rosberg too, although very surprising what he did considering hes a clean driver normally (as Kostabi said above).
Vettel is about the only driver that would make me unhappy if he won. No idea why, would just prefer almost anyone other than him. -

Registered 8 years agoIt's not him per se, it's more about what it might represent. The last thing I want as a guy who just likes to watch exciting championships unfold is another dominant season, especially as it has started off so brightly. -

Registered 6 years agoJust to throw a bit of variety in here... The truck racing is awesome as usual. Legends race just finished, now waiting for pick ups race, then the lcaterhams, then trucks again and finishing of with another legends race. I disagree... but only because there's so much competition this year. With Mclaren, Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull fighting for podiums the championship is anyone's to win.Nth wrote:
Totally agree. I think he's going to have a fairly similar year to Hamilton in 2009. Struggling in the mid-points positions and probably pumping in a few wins when they develop the car a bit but with the championship out of reach.

The Red Bulls are just far too off the pace (well, relatively, the top 5 teams are close in terms of lap times) in qualifying to really threaten for race wins at the moment. They are more often than not going to run into traffic and other problems starting that far down the grid, no matter how good their race pace may be.Nth wrote:
/points at championship positions
I'm being brave and sticking to what I said.gif)
And without a rocketship to drive, again it looks like Webber is a far better 'racer' than Vettel too. Anyway, this year is going to be another epic I think whoever wins, good to see Williams doing much better too.
Just saying.
