He is on the BBC team, perhaps I should have included the BBC lineup for extra list fun as well.

Is the season starting later than normal or is it my mind playing tricks on me?

They have but the team is up for sale and hopefully will be on the grid under a new guise, with Mercedes engines.

Can't see anyone coming in for them myself, it's not a great time to be investing in a money-eating vanity project.

Nope, due to relying on foreign broadcasters.

But there might be an outside chance of the British Grand Prix being in HD.

Toyota has launched, I linked to it in the first post. None of the cars are looking as bad as I thought they would so far, the rear wing looks a bit stupid if you see the car from the front though.

But it's a whole team and factory ready to go, at a giveaway price. Then next year the cost cutting really kicks in so now is actually a good time to buy. Also a management buyout is on the cards too.

Having seen this years cars overall I like the new sleek look, no more stupid winglets and other ugly bits of carbon fibre. And slick tires, finally!

However the rear and front wings are out of proportion. Those large front wings are going to lead to many new nosecones being needed after the first corner. And I don't understand why they didn't just reduce the rear wing to a single element instead of making it narrower, would have looked better.

Sadly though I don't expect much improvement in the race. I expect it to be just as farcical as it has been over the last few years.

And you left out Murray Walker. Pretty sure he is getting a spot in the pre-race build up.

Understandable but you would think at least the British, US, Canadian, Japanese and Monaco GP's could be in HD.

Scrap that I see no races are planned in the US or Canada this year.

New US grand prix on the Las Vegas strip like PGR4 would be awesome.

I stole the list off F1.com and changed all the names of the grand prix to what I would actually call them (apart from Monaco because everyone knows what that is) done Turkey twice though. :(

It is a rubbish track anyway.

I think, from what we've seen so far, that the cars are ugly enough to make baby Jesus cry. : (

I love the slinky new monocoques but the wings do look somewhat ridiculous, the front wing in particular resembles a cow-catcher. Am very glad to see all those little winglets have gone too; I still remember the horror of seeing the Tyrrells in Monaco 1998 with the ridiculous additions to their aero package.

Look for a pic of the 1995 McLaren when it launched, now THAT will make you cry.

Don't look at the late 08 BMW testing if you think the Ferrari and Toyota look bad.
