    It's a lot more dignified and moving a film then you might think. Well worth watching.

    It is indeed an excellent film - one of the best from last year (or was that this year - I can't remember).

    I'd like to watch it, but I'm trying to get through 'Fish Tank' at the mo. It's a brilliant film, just very bleak. Oh - so very - bleak.

    Really quite touching in places. That's some friendship those two had. They were like a heavy metal husband and wife.

    Nice end too. It worked out for them in their own way really. No massively Hollywood ending, just enough to make them happy.

    Eastern Promises is starting on BBC 2 at 10:40. Its a great but pretty rough film about Russian gangsters in the UK.

    If you can, watch or record The Ipcress File, on after Eastern Promises. Its also a very good movie.

    Fair play to ya - always one of those films I've wanted to see but never bothered looking too hard for it.

    Bit early, but Raiders of the Lost Ark (which incidentally is 30 this year - wtf?) is on BBC1 tonight at 8.10pm.

    It's funny - I have a lot of these films on DVD or VHS, but will only watch them when they're on TV.

    Nah, they'll add some CGI ferrets or something. If you're going to fuck it up, fuck it up with CGI. It's the Lucas way.
