    There is a new online takeaway site that helps you search for an online food order site in your local area. Basically it's a search tool that indexes all sites. Means a lot less searching!

    When we get the first site which searches the sites which search the online ordering sites in your area, we should probably just nuke the planet from orbit and start again.

    if you have nothing intresting to say then you might as well just throw your bags on the truck and drive away

    cheers OP, seems I have 36 restaurants near me i've never tried (SE5)...must try this on the weekend!

    We've got around 40 listed for SW15 as well, but here's the thing - I wouldn't trust any of them if I didn't know where it was and had used it before.

    @MrED didn't notice the reviews but each place has a star rating (plus the number of ratings), i'd say anything less than 4/5 avoid but otherwise a little bit excited to try somewhere new instead of the usual at the top of the road

    I wouldn't recommend anyone use 118menu.com. Took me about half an hour to finally get an order through.

    The credit car authorisation page didn't like how long my email address is and the main site is slow and clunky. It wiped my order clean 5 times!

    justineames - you work for Yell4Food don't you? It's easy for you to admit as you're a very high uid and your only posts have been in here.     DaisyD, are you just a bit rude, or a bit stupid? I cant work out which... either way, try to point your venom at someone who cares...

    oh and btw no i dont work for Yell4Food. I just like what it is trying to acheive and thought I would pass it on.

    I can't see how any of what I said makes me stupid. I'm just stating the facts as I see them. There was hardly any venom either, trust me. And their site is still pretty shit.

    Anyway, sorry for the short bitching session guys... I guess Daisy and me got off to a bad start.

    I remember this post was originally about Just-Eat and Online Takeaway sites. They are now covering most of northern europe, so pretty big. From my earlier searches on Yell4Food I noticed that they just about cover every city. Hungry House have 1000+ restaurants now apparently, so between the two of them it's pretty much covered.

    Nifty sites, although since I live in New Cross every shop inhabits some sort of fast food takeaway section.

    I hope I don't get flamed for this...

    I run a further site where you can order food online called E-resistible. We've tried to make it a little more user friendly and offer discounts etc via twitter :-)

    They've made it far too easy to order takeaway from a variety of (dodgy) local places of 'food'.

    Is picking up the phone and hitting the last number redial option not sufficiently easy now?

    Although I suppose these services do help if you've got any awkward eating requirements

    The selection of places is pretty naff where I am. Five different Indian restaurants and one chicken and chips thing. :-\

    My friends use it all the time, there's loads of places around there that do it. I counted 41 show up on the site.
