    WTF??

Seriously, if you don't like WoG you don't like games. It's fucking amazing. It's also one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, not to mention the cleverest, and it was just done by two guys.

Get it or I'll hate you.
This. Had no idea it was made by just the two guys, that is bloody impressive!

I've bought it about 4 times now and plan on buying it again for the iPad.

Yeah. Was my GOTY of whatever year it was released in.

You can murder the Goo on saws. It's an action game without the gay space marines.

Dawn of War 2 expansion at 5 a time but you have to find 7 others..... why not just sell it for £5?

i don't know, but it's a (admittedly frustrating) fun challenge trying to get people together on here to get a good price.

From my experience, I don't recommend trying to sort it out in-between serving customers at work.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

Chaos Rising is a Stand Alone expansion. It can be played without Dawn of War 2 Vanilla. When you buy the Dawn of War 2 Gold Pack and you already own Dawn of War 2 you can gift the extra copy to a friend.

    I had my suspicions.

Give yourself £5 or ½ gig, you're worth it.

This is why I don't like it.

Lou, I loved Braid, but I cheated loads in order to find out more of the story. Still, the soundtrack atmosphere and story were amazing. The gameplay was something I felt got in the way of this at times. However, the way the levels and the way you played them mirrored the concept of the game itself was pure genius.

If WoG is anything like that I'm game.

The music and atmosphere in WoG is much much better than Braid (which I also loved).
  • Deleted user 26 November 2010 20:50:05
WoG is ten times the game that Braid is. I always thought Braid thought it was more clever than it actually was, whereas WoG is much, much more than it appears to be.

Cracked and finally got Machinarium, played the great demo but wasn't impressed at the black borders on my wide monitor (why flash FFS??) but hey just under 4 quid, rude not to.

Although with BLOPS eating time and an already huge backlog I really really should not be buying more. God help me come the Christmas sale.

VVVVVV is pretty great so far, tried it along with World of Goo and Recettear and it's the one that hooked me, while the other 2 started slow.

How does one go about gifting a game? I am quite tempted by that bundle for VVVVVV and Eurofloria but I already have WoG.

You can't usually gift extra copies you get from buying a bundle after already owning the game. It's a fairly rare exception (Orange Box games, Dawn of War II, and... is that it, maybe?).

I've been pondering it and out of that pack I only really want VVVVVV and that's already the same price as the bundle. I can live without Euroflora tbh. Thanks though for the advice. Interesting that you can't gift extra copies from bundles, that seems like a useful thing digital distribution would allow.

You are a factory of sadness.
