Why would you avoid giving money to charity when the option is there for no extra cost to you?

Iam not one for charity as i dont like giving money to advertising companies and people that sit in offices. However with that being said i think you should pay for Humble Bundles, you can decide which split you want. Their really is no good reason to pirate a humble bundle, you can set the price, the split and how you download it.

"Having the HB for free though is effectively taking food out of desperate peoples mouths."
GLOL Can I have some of what you're smoking?

The quote is a bit extreme, but if we're being honest with ourselves, deciding that 58p to charity is too much to pay for a handful of excellent games is pretty shameful.

They support a charity called "Action Against Hunger
" so I don't think I've written anything stupid at all.

    @egdir

Just realized you're one of the pikey cunts who robbed it so of coarse you're gonna find fault with what I've written. Scum.

I bought "Sir, You Are Being Hunted" and for reasons unknown I was under the impression that it was a multiplayer game, much like DayZ. It isn't.

It was only a few quid though and it seems fun enough for that purpose. I might end up loving it actually, the setting is certainly good.

Note to self: read up on things more.

@thefilthandthefury they got enough money through their Kickstarter that multiplayer will be coming at some point.

Then there's multiplayer. As we've said before, this is sort of experimental for us, and is still a way off. However, we have a dedicated developer working on it, and the early playable prototypes are extremely promising. We can't say when exactly this will arrive, but when it does we have genuine reasons to be excited. And of course we'll let you know.

Ah well, that's good news then! I don't know why I thought that was the game it was meant to be, however!

Humble Bundle does receive the money via that method, though, don't they? So the people get just as much food in their mouths. In fact, more food than if the "pikey cunt" hadn't bothered with the Bundle at all.

    (Have I misunderstood?)
No, you understood it well, I did not rob anybody, they will get the obligatory 1 dollar. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over the fact the some self-righteous prick TvOJ cannot comprehend it. Who cannot even spell "of course" right, LOL.

I almost always give them the default $20 for a humble bundle I want. I'm not in the habit of skimping where charity is involved. I do adjust the sliders a bit to favor the charities more though.

The recent Rise of the Triad remake is £2.19 on the Steam Daily Deal, if anyone is after some fast paced shooting.

Was it any good? That's a severely tempting price and might be worth it for nostalgia alone tbh.

I put in the camp of 'well their are better games around so why bother' camp. Frankly we are spoiled in PC Land when it comes to quality games so merely okay just doesn't do it.

It's very much the original ROTT with fancier graphics.

It's fun, but very stupid. If you enjoyed the original or other old school shooters like Serious Sam you'll enjoy this.
