Well worth it. Get on it before there gone
    Are they legit?
Yeah they are. Is this Steam compatible. It only mentions UPlay. I will actually avoid this if I can't load it into Steam. £2 or not.
There legit, but uplay only. Uplay isn't too bad. I've a few games on uplay and never had problems bar getting my acc robbed once but thats another story :)

I see that in the picture for the Genesis collection there's many others (Space Harrier 1 and 2 for example) that aren't included. I guess these have to be bought seperately or in other bundles?

    Brilliant deal though and bought.

    @waggy79

There are 5 Mega Drive Collections altogether.

They usually appear in the sales on amazon, steam etc. They all appear under one launcher too so it won't clog up your steam list.

The Banner Saga is currently 33% off. I picked it up as I love the art style and I love tactical RPGs.

GOG: "Selling games at too high a discount – one often sees discounts above 80% off here and there -sends a message to gamers: this game, simply put, isn’t worth very much. Of course you make thousands and thousands of sales of a game when it’s that cheap, but you’re damaging the long-term value of your brand because people will just wait for the next insane sale."

GOG: "Up to 90% off these games which, simply put, aren't worth very much."

Edit: it's on EG's front page, and user Radish says:
"Perhaps a bit cheeky to post this, but it's possible to find out what's inside your pots of gold before you pay. Once you've clicked checkout, right click the page and view the page source. Look for data-title and it will list the game next to it.

I don't feel too bad about posting this because there's a lot of repetition in the games you "randomly select"."

I missed out on the Bafta awards sale the other day because I forgot about daylight savings already starting in America. I was going to get Lego Marvel, Gone Home, The Stanley Parable and Papers, Please, does anyone know of another place I could get any of those games for the same price there were in the sale?

Failing that, when are we expecting the next Steam sale? Easter?

    @MatMan562

I think the last time they did a spring sale was a few years ago so the next one will be summer most probably.

Keep an eye on savvy gamer until then other sites might put them on sale.

I wonder if the rockstar sale has anything to do with a certain game reaching 6 months on consoles on Monday. Announcement incoming?

@bad09 Damn, I bought it from the same place last night but didn't know there was a code, wasted a whole £1.20! :-P Thanks for keeping me updated!

Speaking of which, when I ordered it last night it asked me for my mobile number for verification but my phone isn't working atm so I just pressed the "I can't be bothered with this" button but now i can't get my code until they "verify" the purchase. Does that usually take long, does anyone know?

I'm assuming gamefly.co.uk is having a problem somewhere this weekend as I'm having a 'purchase is under review' problem for LEGO Marvel.

@kingcrowbar That sounds pretty similar to what I had, I got two emails from them earlier (I ordered last night), one saying that I can now get the activation code and telling me how to contact them for support and another with the actual download code.

I've played the first couple of levels and it seems pretty good fun with some nice little touches! It's a shame the cut-scenes look worse than the actual gameplay though.

Hmmm, it's telling me it's not for sale and I can't find it independantly from the site, only through bad09's link. Reckon there was a pricing issue there somewhere?

Picked up the gta trilogy (3, Vice City & San Andreas) from the rockstar sale this weekend for just over 4 quid. Nice to find Mac versions. Never played any of them before so I figured I owe it to myself.

Has anyone bought at gamefly.co.uk this weekend and had it go through?

Seems to be more than just LEGO Marvel.

I'm beginning to wonder if gamefly have been hacked or something as now I can't even see the site and getting Access Denied errors.

Now, I in no way endorse it. It's rough as fuck but any family guy fans waiting for it to drop here you go

    http://store.steampowered.com/app/214230/

It's alright if I'm honest IF you are a fan, gags and the fun of running around as the characters. I'm on Nvidia so cleaned it up massively through the card to look really good like an actual episode. Dumb shooter tie in but can look good (with your card) and a fan novelty more than anything. Will not be much cheaper either given it's activsion.

It certainly isn't the greatest COD (and personally I'd say Titanfall rather than another COD) but if anyone is waiting on a cheap price Ghosts is going cheap (well cheap for Activision) at 18 quid on simplyCDkeys. I doubt you'll get it cheaper for a while.

Both Crusader Kings II (DLC included) and Shadow Warrior are 75% off on Steam right now. Not amazing deals but worth looking into.

I also see Fable: The Lost Chapters at the same discount, is that worth the trouble? I've only played Fable 3 and didn't quite fancy it but I like my RPGs.
Metacritic's score is good. Which means exactly nothing to me.

Edit: my bad, Fable: TLC (heh) is 85% off apparently.

    /das bumpf

Anyone care to contribute on Fable: The Lost Chapters? It's limited time and all that jazz so input would be appreciated.

Seems worth it at the current discount either case but Fable 3 looked the part at the time as well :/
