    Yeah I think it was, might repeat if it's popular but Gamersgate have it for a fiver at the mo if you don't want to wait

    http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-EUROTS2/euro-truck-simulator-2

    the code "elder-geek.com" might make it cheaper.

    Cheers for the link but will wait to see if Steam have it again (I think they repeat some of the deals at the end of the sale, if memory serves me correctly) as it's also 5.10 on there at the moment until the end of the sale, so may as well try and see if I can get it cheaper. All 2 of it no doubt! :o)

    @kentmonkey

    Yeah I don't think it goes much cheaper. You got 2 weeks on that one anyway (and it's a Steam key).

    Go for the demo while you wait, it's fairly meaty.

    Cheers - I will give the demo a shot. I kept hoping it would turn up in a Humble Bundle (as I like knowing the dev can have a huge chunk of the cash, and I tend to overpay on that) but not even sure if it's 'indie' enough for one of those.

    @kentmonkey

    I'm sure eventually it'll turn up in a bundle but honestly it's worth throwing a fiver at even for novelty, especially if you got a wheel.

    Just try the demo, you'll know.

    I bought it in the last sale and I honestly, truly cannot see the appeal.

    It's about as exciting as holding W down for 30 minutes can be

    I love it. It's a stealth remake of Elite, and genuinely engaging

    All over that Crusader Kings 10 DLC pack like an irritating and stubborn rash.

    There's your problem, keyboard. A wheel, some tunes and a night drive with the lights off. Some of the most relaxing gaming ever.

    Try Ship Sim Extreme or Silent Hunter for extreme tedium sims.

    Silent Hunter 3 is one of my all time favourite sims. Some of the most atmospheric and tense gaming I've ever had. Although yes, there are moments of pure tedium involved.

    Yeah I quite like SH5, I know it's not the best one but for total casual noob like me it serves it's purpose and I really do like Ship Sim for some reason...although even the Mrs shakes her head at that one. Going for a reasonable 7.50 right now, might get lucky on a flash or daily though.

    Oddly compulsive. Some traits are just plain unplayable mind.

    Why, why WHY?! There's so much to do in life, why would you waste 28 hours of it doing this?!

    My father in law loves it. But then he is a lorry driver, his done some bus driving to and tried my bus sim today.

    As for a decent wheel, 360 wheel is all I got. Not great like these fancy 300 notes ones but does the job alright.

    I thought it was the ending that really made the game stand out. It was becoming a bit of a chore by the end for me, but I'm so, so glad I persevered.

    That card game was nice nice, too.

    Edit: fucking retards voting for fucking Humble Bundled games in the fucking Steam vote. Learn how to fucking vote!

    I followed the same shadow. It's not trying to impress with narrative direction, or unique aesthetic [and these can be worthy things in their own right]: it simply focuses on old-school game-play hooks and is pleasantly enjoyable for it.

    Allow me to recommend Mount & Blade: Warband for 2.99 (the collection is 5.99, but Warband's the best and has loads of mods and blah blah blah).

    Edit: direct link to Rogue Legacy, 3.95.
