Has anyone tried Mirrormoon EP? Looks different but unsure what to make of the screenies etc.
I'm pondering it at the moment, it definitely looks interesting, if you're into games-as-an-experience genre (they really need to invent a catchier name for this emerging subgenre! )

That Focus Sale was a nightmare considering I'm both a strategy and ARPG fan, but also a fantastic bargain opportunity. Picked up 4 games this morning from it for less than a tenner total cost and around 3,000 hours of gameplay. Should keep me busy for when my Diablo addiction and the end of year rush is over :D

Anyway, having played 3 games of War of the Roses, I am yet to get a kill. It's quite good fun but bloody difficult!
I've been using the fifth down of the provided builds, man-at-arms if memory serves correctly, I find I do more damage and get more kills with him than the others I tried. I'm only level 6 at the moment and aside from a few games on the free weekend I've only played 4 or 5 since getting it in the bundle. Yesterday in only my second game since install I managed to get top score on my team and most of them were lvl 40+. I've managed some instant kill decapitations as pure luck with that guy.

Never realised War of the Roses was F2P. Always saw Kingmaker in sales and stuff and assumed the original would be a proper paid game. DLing to try it out now...

If any mad fools still haven't discovered the pure joy of Euro Truck 2 GAME are knocking out a download for 8 quid. You could could probably get it a bit cheaper if you wait for another sale elsewhere but not by much.

I think you only get a couple of classes if you play the free version. Still, gives you an idea of the game. Give me a shout if you fancy a game

If there was to be a sale wouldn't it usually take effect after 6, like they usually do?

Yup, it'd be after 6. Why do people never seem to learn this? :p

@joeymoto108 The internet is not about learning! It's about widely speculative opinions based on nothing more than anonymity and a vague sense of injustice.

No idea why I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere, but there are a couple of interesting deals on Steam for the weekend.

The entire Tomb Raider anthology (including the new one) for £11 and change, or £7.49 just for the new one. 75% saving, apparently. I have no intention of ever playing the old TR games, but my usual Steam 'deal itch' is giving me gip so I'll probably cave in.

Also Rogue Legacy is 40% off at around £7.50.

    @Phattso

The new tomb raider is well worth £7.99. It's actually pretty good. Assuming you didn't like any of the puzzles in the old tomb raider ... :/

That aside it's got great graphics and good combat. It's just a bit too easy

Yeah, I played it to completion on 360 earlier this year and thoroughly enjoyed it (some QTE wankery aside). Too soon for another playthrough, and I just know I'd never even look at the older ten.

    But it's such a bargain!

Wow, 25% off Activision titles on Steam right now. That's 25% off RRP, not normal prices. Are they taking the bloody piss?

Kerbal is awesome. I'd willingly sell my house and all its contents for the good people over at KSP.

Oh, and that 20% price difference will be VAT (on this occasion anyway).

US prices are (usually) without sales tax (which varies from state to state), but UK prices are usually inclusive of VAT.

Something to take into account when comparing US to UK prices. It'll still generally be cheaper in the US, but their sales tax is way lower than ours. It's just not always (though, unfortunately, often is) 'cause UK prices are being gouged.

Pathetic isn't it? What's really interesting is that only deadpool managed to get into the top 10 best sellers out of all the activision titles. Black ops 2 scrapes into 12th and modern warfare 2 is at 20.

Activision "sale" isn't really having much effect.
