You can just get the code through the Humble Bundle site and then give the code to whoever you want. I did it with the Abe games a while back.

Yeah that message was on the Humble site, thought it meant that you weren't able to gift. But if you can gift the codes you don't need then all the better ;)

The new Humble weekly bundle is rather good. Alan Wake + American Nightmare, with a minimum payment of $1 for Steam keys if you're really cheap. :p

Thank you! :) Still haven't played my $2 American Nightmare! But I was anticipating a second playthrough on my 360 Alan Wake at some point, so it'll be nice to have it looking much better and with more control choices.

@mrpon 5.00 Sleeping Dogs, Steamworks, at Gamersgate. 5% discount with code elder-geeks.com

    :p

They also have some sort of Space Warfare Weekend Sale, but I couldn't see any pioneering sale prices.

I picked up sleeping dogs earlier this week when get games had it for a fiver, very much worth it I'd say, car handling and the camera are a bit rough but great fun so far and really quite stunning to look at.

Don't forget the camera mod to! Not as good as GTA4's camera mod and a bit of a pain when using a pad (only works from the keyboard) but at least gives you some choices in camera views including a couple of in car ones.

It was a surprise hit for me - couldn't put it down for the 20 hours it took to play it through.

What's the best way to backup my Steam saves before I delete some games? Other than Backup Game Files (which seem to backup the game as well) nothing is leaping out at me?

Sins of a Solar Empire looks great, but very complex and lacking a campaign mode apparently(?) I've read the end-game can take quite a while too once it's a given that one player is dominant.

Can anyone advise if it's worth the sub-tenner price? I'm a fan of strategy games in general such as CoH, Civ 4, Starcraft and the Total War series; this looks a little different though, especially the learning curve. Many thanks!
Anyone got any thoughts on this? Looks pretty good to me.

Sins doesn't have to be complex, you can create a big fleet and send it at the enemy with micro management all on auto. If you can handle CoH, Civ, Total War etc then you shouldn't have any problems with Sins.

Activision's dreadful Fast & Furious now available for EUR 40. Three screenshots, no video, no demo, no metacritic score thingy.

It's as if after all the bashing EA got recently, Acti comes back to show everyone that they're still the baddest of all.

First review registered on metacritic so far: 1/5... can't wait for the EG review :D

Chivalry is good fun, you should try it.

It has latency problems, but that's not quite that bad given its mayhemic nature.

FFS. Stop making me want to buy games! I already bought Wargame ALB and the Unreal pack this week. I'm tempted by Chivalry, probably going to get Alan Wake in the Humble Bundle and now you show a tempting offer for Tomb Raider. Bastards!
