Why the fuck haven't Capcom cashed in on RE2 yet?!

    Come and get it cumslingers!

  • Deleted user 19 March 2013 11:21:32
Cash in on it by re-investing time and money into it so they can sell a few copies of a game anyone can emulate in about 5 mins?

It's on the PS store if you have a PS3, PSP or Vita.

I think you'll have to wait till Steam gives it out.

I would think unlikely, as the Steam bonuses are direct Steam pre-purchase unlock rewards.

The cards will just give redeem codes - but are unlikely to be considered pre-purchases.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ofc.

I don't think so. Plugging in a retail key for Tomb Raider didn't net the pre-order bonuses for that so I have no reason to believe this will be any different.

On the flip side people wouldn't need to emulate old consoles if Capcom tidied them up and sold them, we didn't even get 4 and CV when they re-released (considering how bad the port of 4 supposedly is on PC that was surprising).

I emulate them all up to 5 but would buy them all again on PC in a heartbeat. Someone tell Capcom about GOG...

I really want xcom but have been holding off for a sale on steam as I have some money in my wallet on there to spend. If I preordered Bioshock Infinity now would I still be entitled to xcom?

I don't really want Bioshock Infinity but I think they're the same price on steam. So if I bought it could I gift Bioshock Infinity and keep xcom?

X-com is 19 quid on Amazon. Why pay 30 quid for a game you don't want to get a game you do want that's cheaper elsewhere?

It's even cheaper than that : $16.49 on Amazon.com right now.

Steam have a sale on around Easter time, no?

In a couple of weeks it'll be around the 10-15 point or less, guaranteed.

    Interesting development...

Amazon (US version) is now matching the Bioshock Infinite Steam pre-order offer (Bioshock + Xcom) and offering $30 (about 20) of 2K credit in addition... which is about the price of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass...

Never seen pre-order bonuses this aggressive before.

(previous form has that most of these bonus games will be steam keys)

Ah, I forget you can do that now. I'd check with Steam about the gifting then you might gift the pre-order stuff to or something.

Has anyone ever seen a DD Skyrim for around the 10 to 15 mark? Finished it on 360 when it came out but want to play it with a load of mods installed.
Hoping for sub 10 in the Easter sale.

X-Com : Enemy Unknown has also been retroactively added to the Greenmangaming Bioshock Infinite preorder incentive. Their Support page states a key should be sent by 26th March.
I imagine all other retailers will now follow suit.

GMG have quite the offer going for the Bioshock Infinite pre-purchase:

    For 23.99, you get:

    Bioshock Infinite
    XCOM Enemy Unknown
    Bioshock
& the choice of Civ V, Spec Ops The Line, Mafia 2, Darkness 2, Bioshock 2

Amazon.com's offer still seems a bit better, assuming you can use them - US$60 for Bioshock Infinite, and you get $30 back in 2K credit as well as XCOM. Considering the better support from Amazon and the various problems associated with GMG, Amazon seem safer at least.

Then again, with the exchange rate this month... maybe a few less choices for Brits. D:

Ooh, actually... Gamersgate offer Bioshock Infinite for 30, less 5% using code elder-geek.com as well as including XCOM and (copy-pastaring vijay!) the choice of Civ V, Spec Ops The Line, Mafia 2, Darkness 2, Bioshock 2. AND 9 back in Gamersgate store credit.

And weirdly, their UK site has it 25% cheaper than their US site anyway. :o

Anyone with the 20% discount on their GG account is laughing, as it'll be 7 cheaper than the GMG deal.
