@Mr-Brett - lies! My taste is excellent! I do seem to have an irrational hatred of shitty 2d side scrolling fighting games though, but that is mainly because it is a genre that should have died in the mid nineties...

@Cubby - To The Moon is excellent, I'd recommend you play that first

    @superdelphinus

If you went for GTA4 now is the perfect time of year for the snow mod. Chuck a load of Christmas tunes in the custom radio station to and it's Christmas time in Liberty City! :)

When DS3 came out it, it may of been a worthy distraction but now in the tale end of 2012 we have plenty of action rpgs to choose from.

A part of me wants the game but the other part says I have plenty to be getting on with.

Known as 'Sharzam' in 98.5% of games

Got it. I paid roughly the amount for one game normally, which still felt a little cheap! Would never have bought any of them normally though

With the possible (actually probable) exception of Red Faction, they're all rather good games. I actually already own them all but mainly on 360 so it's worth it for me just to have the PC versions.

Is it worth paying the extra for SR 3? How does it compare to Sleeping Dogs?

Christ, I sound like a moron, but I need answers.

@caligari - I found Saints Row to be below average, and nowhere near as good as Sleeping Dogs. If you like very immature humour and have someone to play co-op with it may just about be worth buying, otherwise I'd give it a miss

I hated RF: Armageddon after hearing it wouldn't be open like RF: Guerrilla (which I really liked), but gave the demo a chance and HATED IT EVEN MORE. Awful demo.

Eventually ended up with a copy of the full game and had a nice time from start to finish. :D Very strange. A nice little linear 3rd-person shooter, with a wonderful magnet gun. It's extremely sad, because although it's a fun game that's worth installing and playing, it also had so much potential to be an absolutely awesome, amazing game.

:( Fine! I'll just go to the CVG forums instead, then!

So as my last ever post here, I'll just point out the Plentiful Paradox Pack for those who can purchase from Amazon.com. US$10 gets you Crusader Kings II (which is rather popular, from what I've seen on various forums), the Magicka collection, Victoria II, Sword of the Stars Complete (a slightly older but fairly well-received 4X space strategy game), and its sequel, the released-far-too-early-to-shit-reviews Sword of the Stars II. It's actually because of SotSII that I'm posting, as in addition to the numerous patches since release, it's just had a free upgrade that includes a new piece of DLC as well as everything else that's ever been available (which seems to be a couple of race packs).

So maybe it won't be shit anymore. Maybe.

Bye bye, Eurogamer! (I'm not really leaving. I assume a spammer's post is missing here ;))

I am in Asia (Korea), yet if I log into my Gamersgate account I can only use the UK prices (I do however get hit by the odd 'region protection' still, so I get the worst of both worlds...

I got keys for the following games for anyone who has been registered at least a couple of years: Splice, Cogs, Superbrothers Sword and Sorcery, Avadon the Black Fortress, Eufloria, Machinarium, Crayon Physics or Zen Bound 2. Drop me a PM, not forgetting to say which one you want.

Yes it is definitely worth paying the extra for, while not as good as SR2, the game is an absolute blast. There's a lot of content in it as well so it's really good value.
