I'm going to order the full L.A Noire for 6 quid now and I'll be tempted with Crysis 2 tomorrow.
When will I play all this FFS?

LA Noire is the perfect game to just dip into for 30-45 mins at a time. I found treating it like a TV series instead of one long movie really helped.

Do you have to play the main game to get to play the DLC? I already completed it on the PS3.

edit: ah it says you can play them from the start, great!

    Psychonauts for 1.49, get in!

I got purchases from the US working by setting up a separate US account and buying gifts for my 'normal' account.
Meant that complete L.A Noire was only 4 quid...

Hmmm... you know how you can use American download codes from Amazon on EU Steam? I noticed that Scribblenauts Unlimited is up on Amazon for download, and it says for use on Steam client. Scribblenauts isn't out in EU until sometimes in 2013.

Would the code work, or should I just wait?

US Amazon steam codes have worked fine for me for many games however never tried it with a game that is not out in the UK. I imagine it will work fine as normally with these things steam just wont let you view a store page.

Anyone want to be a guinea pig ?

Had to pick up Hotline Miami for less than four quid. Having it on a flash sale just made me decide there and then.

As predicted I am rubbish at it though, not even finished the first stage yet. Think I need to plug a 360 pad in, I'm no good at this mouse + keyboard business.

Amazon had it in a bundle yesterday - Mass Effect 1 and 2, and Dragon Age 1 and 2 for $9.99. Offer's over now, though.

Do you think torchlight II price will drop? i'm looking forward to it...
  • Deleted user 25 November 2012 17:28:42
    @Rens11

The Xbox 360 controls are terrible. In fact so much that they reworked the game to work on controllers for example no friendly fire area effect damage on your group on consoles.

The keyboard/mouse controls are how this game is meant to be played the whole combat system is built around it.

I've seen each game individually for 3 on quite a few websites this year.

Amazing how cheap these games are getting.

Yep, the entire game screams mouse and keys to play really. Make sure you keep yourself aware of the DLC bug that blights the game. I had it de-authorise halfway through and lost loads of my armour. Couldn't be arsed to figure out which game save from hours in the past would give it back again and plodded on.

    What's Haegemonia like?

It's currently only $3.99 on gog.com with its expansion pack.
