Hmm I must have still been using a wired one at the time, weird. I have a wireless one and have used it with OTR where it works perfectly. This must have been before I got the dongle.

But yeah, anyway, everyone get DR2! ;)

Peeps, BF3 Premium Edition PC, ie. BF3 + all the now and future DLC is £23ish on Origin. Had to plump for it at that price, kinda wanted to get the PC version and/or premium for my 360 version but will be trading that 360 version in now as, to be perfectly frank, the graphics on the PC version have blown my balls off.

Wait for the Assasins Creed complete pack in the christmas/thanksgiving sale. Had one simliar on steam the other day was all 4 games + dlc for £25.

Was probably just for a build up before AC3, but you never know might pop up again.

Check the PC section on savvy gamer, sure I saw AC2 for about £2.50 on there earlier.

    Fuckpants.

Bioshock is being a penis. Refuses to run in anything other than windowed mode, despite persistent fiddling. Then the first loading screen on hitting Rapture, it just sits there for ages.

Checked GameHub and it is rife with people having issue.

Hehehe, nearly bought Dead Rising 2 on Steam the other day, but held out because I was really waiting for OTR. Now I think I'll bite on DR2 anyway, as it's just dropped to £3.74 on Gamersgate (not mentioning store credit rebate or our 15% discount). Nice nice. :D

They've also got The Darkness II (Steamworks) for £4.99, which seems to be the cheapest price yet..? And... (also Steamworks) FEAR 3 for £3.24, too? (Looks the same as the Steam price until you factor in the store credit GG give you ;)) I looked at GG YESTERDAY and these deals weren't there then.
SUPER-ANNOYED, as there's now a 5% (re-usable) voucher for GG: "G2PO". That ~$0.21 is going to haunt me. :( Also, CAG is suggesting using it to buy Blue Coins with a 5% discount, and then applying the 5% discount to the game purchase, too. Sneaky.

Also, the best kind of bargain: free Faerie Solitaire from one of the less bargain-tastic download sites. Redeems on Steam. :p

Seem to have got Bioshock up and running yesterday.

Lost Planet is another one that is oddly windowed too.

I remember playing the opening of Underworld and liking it. It ran a bit shonky on the PS3 (for some reason they decided to push to a high resolution rather than do it at the same as the 360), and Lara is totally the opposite of her original days controls wise (effectively jittery in comparison to the oil tanker days), but not enough to put me off a playthrough one day.

People have a go at Uncharted for ape-ing it, but they feel totally different. The exploration sections of Underworld are more expansive even at an early stage.

@Armoured_Bear it'll usually say Steam in the tags bit, or Steamworks in the DRM type section if it's redeemable on Steam. Looks like the Assassin's games are the general Ubisoft DRM versions.

I would guess not, usually its displayed if the key is for steam. Oops didn't see MMMarmites already answered you.

The only games that work with Steam will be Steamworks games mostly. There is a list of games you can unlock on Steam.

While Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is Gamersgate's daily deal, it's awful and not why I'm posting.

I'm posting because of this review of it on the Gamersgate page:

    Silvel2 wrote:

I really like this game, but if you are looking for a Resident Evil one to three experience I can't recommend it. You could say that Gears of War made it's way to PC with this title, and, considering I don't have an X-BOX, and that I always wanted to play that game, I'm really happy that they launched this on PC.
I'm about to send him a message that will make him very happy... :-P

Would that be that he can play Gears of War in PC as long as he can put up with GFSBWSL?

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

You're best off with a disc version at the moment (amazon have it for 20 notes) or waiting for thanksgiving/Christmas sales. There is some kind of GOTY version coming as well you might want to wait for.

Applying the code GMGFM-35OFF-SCORE will knock 35% off Football Manager 2013, so you can get it for £19.50.

Thanks. £20 is a bit steep. How much is this normally in the thanksgiving Christmas sales?

    @Baggies

I dunno depends on Bethesda. It'll be a year old by then I think so should get a nice discount but then again the normal price seems quite high on all the sites. I would imagine it'll get at least 50% which on Steam for example would put it at just 18 quid anyway.
