My Mum bought me a Mr Frosty. 35 years late but the nagging finally paid off!

Got a fire pit made from an old Washing Machine drum

Very happy with it as it helped get rid of some old cardboard from our move, makes pretty tasty baked potatoes and gives the garden a slight post-apocalyptic atmosphere

Someone in work is still wearing a Christmas Jumper. Surely that's a hangable offence?

I'm not sure if my GF loves me anymore she got me a hideous jumper and a calendar.

There was a distinct lack of effort.

This is how women must feel all the time.

I gather I'm "bloody hard to buy for" these days. My main hobby is gaming and I can afford to just buy games and hardware myself these days. This does tend to turn Christmas presents into a fairly unexciting experience. Got a reasonably nice watch, but other than that, it was mostly just practical or novelty stuff.

There are limits to how excited you can make yourself look when opening a gift and exclaiming "Oh good, socks!".

I got a wine advent calendar. 24 mini bottles, leading up to champagne on the 25th. I spent the entire month buzzing, then my missus took/dragged me to go ice skating, which I'm shit at, and as soon as I stepped onto the ice I saw drops of blood and I freaked out slightly.

Well I can tell what I did not receive for Christmas this year, and that was socks, for the last twenty odd years I've usually received enough new pairs to see me through another year, yet this year nothing sock related.

I even had a sock cull before Christmas in anticipation and now have a severe shortage of the bloody things.

That's an absolutely ridiculous list. I'm surprised no-one threw a car into the mix as well.

It's like a Christmas list for a premiership footballers 10 year old son.

    Good haul this year.

    A Pair of Reebok Classics
A Hairy Bikers new mediterranean cookbook
    GOTG2 on UHD
    A Denby shallow casserole (nice)
An electric meat grinder and sausage maker (yes wobbly bob, I now have the grinder! OK now? :) )
    20 quid in a card
Walking Dead Season 6 (didn't have the heart to tell the Mrs I gave up halfway through that season and can't be arsed with TWD anymore :) )

Was only joking, all I got was a mug with an emoji on it.
It's the one that winks and sticks out it's tongue so it's extra dumb.
Also it can't go in the dishwasher or microwave apparently, so yay me.
