I've had no new girls view me on POF for a while, I suppose people recognise the thumbnail after a while. Over all been very discouraging.
    Change your photo then?

Perhaps use a fingernail for the next one?

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

3rd date and we've got as far as holding hands.

Bloody hard work, when she's got enough confidence to know that if a looser woman could snag you quicker you probably weren't worth bothering with.

Telling the others women you've been chatting with that you're not available is also a bit stressful.

Don't tell them, just slip quietly off into the shadows.

I'm bored of doing single dates, taking ages to set one up and then finding out I'm not interested. So I'm setting up 3 or 4.

    Lucky I've got a PS3 and not a 360.

    They're absolutely tiny.

As to setting up single dates, fuck that for a game of soldiers. It's not like the girl whose profile most appeals to you is actually particularly likely to be the one that you actually click with.

Plus if you're chatting to a few women at the same time you'll come across as a lot less needy... Plus you're a complete mug if you don't realise that at least initially they'll be talking to other men.

I'd say 95% is your photos, the rest is your message. It's bloody hard getting an answer out of anyone really.

Honestly, trying to work a conversation around to something that makes you sound interesting has helped me a lot.

In my case talking about something interesting and nice I've cooked helps after the second or third reply.

No expert on getting an initial reply... Though trying to demonstrate some kind of insight about something on their profile will put you above a significant quantity of chaff.

It helps to have a look at the guys in your area on the same search as you too. Plus, it might turn out that you find someone you like, solving both problems.

Well surprisingly someone else messaged me today and so managed to spark a little conversation there, tiny bit of flirting going on so that's good fun.

Also been chatting with someone who my mate set me up with too, might as well keep my options open aye?!

50/50 on photo and message. As long as you look normal and pleasant in your photo then they might bother to look at your message. The message needs to be friendly, not too brief but not more than 3 short paragraphs, it needs to reference something in her profile that you can comment on without it sounding calculated. Throw in a slight compliment - eg. you have a beautiful smile -, ask her a question she can come back to you on.

Make sure your profile has a decent amount of information, isn't too boring, doesn't put yourself down and, if you wat to be funny, ask someone who doesn't laugh at much you say whether it really is.

Then be normal. 95% of the other guys that will have messaged her will have been freaks.

No they won't. Don't use that as your excuse for an entire sex ignoring you.

Thought about wigs sport? Gradually reducing the shortness over the period of the relationship. You gotta introduce that bald helmet slowly.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.
