    Gears of War 1 (PC)
Took me a long time to get round to it, some said the PC version added cumbersome extra levels.
Tell you what, for a 6 year old game it doesn't run great and my setup is pretty good.

Fun anyway, just finished the level that inspired alan wake :pP

State of decay. Really good suprisingly and far better than dead island.

Little rough around the edges and it takes a while to get used to it but there is a great game here. The foundations and mechanics of the game feel solid.

Playing Deus Ex HR and really want it to end now. I have Diablo III and Spinter Cell on their way to me. One will get played before GTA V

"Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem! Oh, yeah!"

I really feel like they missed a trick not making it co op, it killed all interest I had in the game. Open world survival games work brilliantly with a friend

At 19 you are still young, still plenty of time to play something better.

Kingdoms of Amular. 8 hours in. Looks seriously huge.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

Diablo 3 on ps3 is so very slick. Only solo and 3 player local with my sons so far.
They've played a couple of similar games before and they are loving it.
The only problem with the local co-op is they keep diving into menus checking loot and powers. But a good game just got awesome.

Also started Dragon's Crown today. Similar in focus and progression but a much different pace. Gorgeous to look at and play, once you figure out it's rhythm.

    @Pinky_Floyd It is.

I still haven't recovered from the first boss. I'll be sad when I've seen it all.

I will be playing this again, and again though, I'm sure.

@Pinky_Floyd Ok, it's 20 years old. I'm 26, but I can't imagine this one being outdone. Not in my books. I genuinely don't have a single complaint against Super Metroid. I can't say that about anything else.

@Raiko101 I know what you meant mate, I was kidding given that the way you had written your comment it could be read a couple of ways ;)

Super Metroid is awesome, I've been playing it in off tv mode on the wii u myself :)

    Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

It's OK, but the menu/inventory system must have been dreamt up by a lunatic. Anything involving the inventory takes an age. And the game runs like a one-legged dog on my PS3. I dread running into enemy spellcasters as, what with my spell effects and theirs on the screen, the frame rate slumps, and I even had single figure frame rates in one area. It was like the PS3 Skyrim bug all over again.

The 'Shadow of the Colossus'-esque battles are great though, and I love the game world. But I hate the constant respawning, especially in dungeons that I've cleared before. I would have liked to have seen Skyrim's system of being able to clear an area and be done with it.

To end on a positive though, I love the way you can influence the conclusion of some of the missions, not to mention the way the game doesn't hold your hand to say "You have a good, evil or sarcastic option for completing the quest". It leaves you to try things and figure it out for yourself.

Currently, I am playing Castlevania: Shadows of the Night

It's brilliant. Kind of like gaming evolution's missing link between Jet Set Willy and Dark Souls.

Blimey, the most compelling reason I've seen yet to buy said device.

    Tomb Raider 2013

Nice to just play a long campaign. Solid mechanics and neat game world. I think the island must be a holiday destination, not short on bodies. Hand holding is rather weird. Think the game would be a lot better if they looked at Arkham games rather than being overly cinematic in everything though they do seem to hide loading in these parts. Enjoying it, bow is awesome.

    Corpse Party (PSP)

Well fuck. Picked this up cheap on psn. How a 2d horror/adventure game is scaring me so shitless, I don't know. Fucking shitting shitty fucky ballshitfucks when the guy in the toilet shouts. And the face that randomly appears in the glass cabinet. Maybe I'm a wuss.

Currently replaying the last of us on survivor mode, such a great game and survivor adds a new dimension with much less stuff around and the infected are very observant indeed!

You are a factory of sadness.

Saints Row 4 (PC) - Hilarious, outrageous and just plain good fun. Other games do everything better individually, but put all together it's just FUN. I've not a played a proper good fun game for ages. The dubstep gun is genius.

I'm not a fan of coop and would rather they got the sp right first before introducing coop to the next game (which they are going to do). The character swapping, resting and perma deaths really make u stop and think about ur strategy. Who is expendible and who isn't. Its really good.

    Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars (3DS)

Wow, this is actually rather good. It looks like arse (especially compared to, say, Fire Emblem) and feels a bit "budget" all around, but if you can get over that it's a cracking strategy game.
