The Freespace Port for Freespace 2 Open
    Diaspora
    Sleeping Dogs
    Silent Hunter series
    Dark Souls

It seems I'm chopping and changing a lot just now.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

Was gonna get System Shock 2, but saw Neverwinter Nights 2 (with all expansion packs) for $19.99 - about 14 - so got that instead.

If you're playing Silent Hunter (which I love) make sure you devote your time to a fully patched Silent Hunter 3 with Grey Wolves X installed and the custom resolution fix. Even though I have SH4/5 this is the version I keep returning to. One of my all time favourite PC games.

Currently trying to 100% Mario WiiU and trying to play more than 20 minutes of ZombiU at a time without shitting myself.

On 360 I've finally got round to playing Spec Ops and I've been discovering the joys of XCom multiplayer with Mr. Red Sparra.

Dishonored, I'm near the end and it's a bit annoying how easy the tall boys seem able to see you.

I've just finished Jak & Daxter, next up I will try to finish Sleeping Dogs and juggle that with Rage, which I just re-bought a few days ago.

    Just cause 2
Haven't touched this for a year and going back to it is a pleasure. This is an outstanding game to just mess about in. 28% completion in merc mode so some way to go.

Black ops 2 custom bot matches.

I just cannot be arsed playing this online anymore as its simply a headless chicken run once u get past the illusion. The map design (apart from standoff and raid) is just bad and the enemy spawning annoying as fuck. Can't even get uav scorestreaks anymore.

Perfect Dark (XBLA). Never played this when it first came put. Besides lacking the upgrade, I never liked the graphics. Can't say they're great now either. It's not a technical issue. Rather it all just looks overly colourful and repetitive.

Anyways, i'm finding the game's challenge to be figuring out what you have to do, rather than dealing with enemies. It's not always obvious knowing what needs to be done. Was Goldeneye like this first time around?

Playing Dragonquest 8 on my PS2. Last played 6 years ago on a 14" CRT. Now playing on a 32 samsung widescreen. Wow. I'll say that again in case you didn't hear. WOW, the difference, its almost like a different game. (Of course you need component cables, the PS3 component is compatible).

Had my arse kicked and name taken a few times, you have to pay attention in this game.

That was the reason why I stopped playing it.

I managed to go through GoldenEye when I was eleven or twelve without any problem on the second hardest difficulty, secret agent, but never got Perfect Dark (nor Conker's Bad Fur Day) because it was an eighteen rated game ...

... I purchased the XBLA game with excitement a few years ago yet on the fourth or fifth mission, I just simply do not know where to go or what to do to move on, to actually progress.

Yeah, I've been really surprised by its quality so far. It's a bit rough around the edges but I hope Rockstar have a good long look at this regarding some of their features in GTAV. I'm enjoying the undercover cop angle so far too; while it's no Infernal Affairs, I'm finding it much more compelling than Nico's story in GTAIV.

Sleeping Dogs is excellent. I love the Hong Kong setting, vehicles and the hand to hand fighting.

Currently playing Sleeping Dogs as well. Getting a bit bored with the drug missions (but then, I have done five of them this evening) and sincerely hope this isn't the only 'cop' type missions you get to play, but enjoying the rest of it.

Even the driving, as it doesn't tax you too much and just lets you piss about in the world (and it also has a great handbrake, no matter which car you drive).

Liking it rather a lot so far. Text could be a bit bigger though, bit hard to read some of the text even on a decent 32" HDTV.

Sleeping dogs is ropey as hell. Awful vehicle handling, over complicated combat system and a story which is pretty meh.

Saints row 2 did this type of combat far better with the fight clubs

Since completing Resistance3 a couple of weeks back, I have messed around with Wolfenstein,Infamous2,Crysis2,Borderlands2 and Gears of course.
I won't get stuck into a game until GearsJ comes out or Lovefilm send me Crysis3

I always have to have a break, upon completing a game, just can't jump into something right away.

"Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem! Oh, yeah!"

@CharlieStCloud The most disapointing thing for me is that I bought this to play co-op with a friend online. Should have done my research first. The severe input lag makes it unplayable. It also enduces motion sickness if you try to persist.

I'll agree that the vehicle handling isn't very good, but it's better than in SR2 IMO. The combat is great ("over complicated"?!) and I really like the premise and setting because it's very unique compared with most open-world games' American setting. I got it free with PS+, and think I'll buy some more DLC later.

Fez - and rather charming it is too.

Everybody should just calm down a little bit and have a nice cup of tea.

I got Star Wars Battlefront 2 through the post yesterday so chucked it into the disc drive last night to see if it worked ok and ended up turning it off about 2 hours later. Great game.
Just a shame there is no online function for it anymore as I can imagine it would be awesome with a few human players thrown into each side.
