I prefer to be stealthy, but I find I get a bit bored and frustrated if I stick soley to it in games like this. It's much more fun to do a varied run through and use a variety of abilities.

Just finished Dishonored on PC, immediately started Borderlands 2.
On WiiU playing ZombiU, NSMBU and Nano Assault.

Have neglected the PS3 of late but Ni no Kuni just arrived :D

On the PC I should go back and try Batman:AC and Metro 2033 but they were boring me....

I completed Borderlands 2 over the weekend - really enjoyed it. Thought that the story was great, and the story missions were all very enjoyable, especially towards the end. Very tempted to give the game a break before starting True Vault Hunter mode and the DLC though.

Binary Domain, up to chapter 5. It is a just above average game, has enough to keep me wanting to get to the end screen.

Dominating Ni No Kuni at the moment, excellent game despite a slightly ropey battle system.

Doing a bit of Dead Space 3 co-op with my brother also which is great fun. Not scary at all though, obviously.

Just completed penultimate chapter of Alan Wake.
It's decent enough but I'm thinking I won't bother with the DLC

I've been playing Jak & Daxter today. I've got to say, aside from some slight camera annoyances this game has not aged at all and it's probably still my favourite Naughty Dog game (just inching ahead of CTR and Uncharted 2). I just wish more games were as colourful and fun and diverse and pleasant as this; it's such a shame I have to play HD collections to enjoy a bright and breezy platformer these days (I don't own a Wii).

I also started playing Sleeping Dogs last night, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Only a couple of hours in, but I hope R* studied this closely when making some decisions on GTAV.

Fallout 3. Never completed when I got it, umm, many many years ago. Restarted and just gone past where I was with my first character.

Actually just spent the last few months mainly completing games I bought years ago but didn't finish... Fable 2, AC:Brotherhood and Rage.

Very true. I don't actually know if I'll have the money to pre-order it, but I'll get it at some point, just to show my support for Sony still making traditional platformers. I played the demo from US PSN and thought it was great. :-)

    Well it's certainly better than FC3 :)
Skyrim I finished in one go. I don't know why I stopped with FO. May be real life. Strange given it is my ideal setting. Have all the DLC to look forward to too. The VATS system is brilliant. Should be in every RPG FPS.

Can't decide if I help the ghouls or the locals in the tower. Tried to persuade them to be let in but the last woman I need to convince buggered off cos someone (/eyes down to the ground) stole her savings. Opps.

F1 Racing Stars. Bland and I'm sure it won't last me long until I go on to something else, but harmless fun nonetheless. The EG review which gave it a 6/10 pretty much sums up my thoughts exactly.

@DUFFMAN5 Is that the same with the original Borderlands or did they change that?

Ohh I would certainly not say no to that. :) Is the DLC best played after you finish the main game?

You need to play Broken Steel before you complete the main story, but the rest can be played whenever you want. The locations get added to your Pipboy.
    I will pm you.

    Max Payne 3

Really enjoying the gunplay and bulletime. I think I'm nearing the end now.
  • Deleted user 10 February 2013 14:59:02
    Dead Space (first one)

On last chapter, really enjoying it but not so much horror or suspense and more action than I thought it would have. Even been two turret sections which makes it an instant no for survival horror in my book. Bloody good fun though marred by the occasional frustrating difficulty spike.

Just platinumed Rage this morning. Was waiting for Colonial Marines but with the poor reviews started Deus Ex Human Evolution. Had it for ages and never gave it a good go, what are people's opinions?

    @Red_Dwarf_Posse

I thought it was awesome apart from some boss battles which are very difficult if you are geared towards stealth. It reminded me a lot of Metal Gear Solid 1/2 and Perfect Dark (three of my favourite games from my teenage years). I should also add it's a fairly long game especially if you're a trophy whore like me who wants to do all the side missions. Additionally the side missions can reveal some funky goings on in the storyline like the fact that you're adopted (and your parents haven't told you) and that you also have a few undiagnosed psychological conditions

I think a lot of people didn't like it as it wasn't shooty enough for FPS fans and not stealthy enough for stealth fans. However if you're like me where you try to be stealthy up to a point before losing your patience and shooting everything in sight, then it's great.

@DUFFMAN5 Ta muchly. I could get the original Borderlands cheap and borrow the content off of a mate.

Although I am sniffing at your one in the swapsies. I've been sniffing for about two weeks though.
