Registered 6 years agoBaldur's Gate Enhanced Edition on the iPad. Haven't played this in many years but it's still almost as good as I remember it. The world seems slightly smaller and more empty than I remember and certain fights seem easier, I could always turn up the difficulty but I'm pretty sure i'm playing on the same difficulty as before and it doesn't seem as hard, maybe just because I know my way around the game and who to recruit/what gear to get early on.
It's also a bit buggy, but playing it on the iPad is so much better than on a PC imo (not in terms of controls, just in the sense that I can play it on the sofa, it's so much more relaxing than sitting at a desk) and the new content that's been added seems pretty good and brings it closer in style to Baldur's Gate 2.
Brilliant game anyway, it's such a shame that games like this aren't being made anymore, not even really in the indie scene. Hopefully Project Eternity and Wasteland 2 won't disappoint. -

Done the operation anchorage DLC, got the old style power armour as a end quest loot. It's condition never degrades. Always fall strength. Unless its glitched and does degrade but never shows it in the menu -

Such an underrated game. Fast, chaotic, exciting. An updated 60fps version in WiiU multiplayer would be so much fun. -

Praise be to the Giant Bombcast - their recommendations on this, Persona, XCom, Far Cry 3 and Cook, Serve, Delicious have given me a lot of fun.
If you can stand the inane ramblings and general 'Americaness' of it, it's worth listening to as they do like good games. -

I have also had 4 360's (2 cream ones borked on me) I then bought a 250gb Slim, but changed that when I got hold of a brand New LTD Gears 320 console...

Registered 5 months ago@Duffman5 Why not just shove the PS3 in a closet until you are ready for a game to buy ? I only have a PS3 because the 360 games are so uninspiring. I know its generalisation but the 360 pretty much only has macho man type games and nothing else whereas the PS3 has some unique if abit overrated exclusives but also has the macho man type games as well. -
