It's "Jackass Presents" - not Jackass itself. They must want to be like National Lampoons.

This looks like a Bruno ripoff, imo.

Off topic, but every time I see this thread I get excited... then realise I'm misreading it and think it's a 'Trailer Park Boys' thread :(

    American Hustle.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Under The Skin - I love the book and it's very, very freaky.

This trailer suggests it's going to be pretty close to the book. Low quality but you can get the idea.

From the director of Sexy Beast and starring a very different Scarlett Johansson.

You say that but I haven't a clue after watching the trailer. Which granted makes a change but some idea of what the hell the film is would be nice.

    Portable view - Never forget.

It's a tough one because the book doesn't really reveal what's going on till late. Also to give a synopsis of what it's about is quite difficult. In terms of getting the idea, I was referring to the tone as opposed to the story.

Think it would genuinely be a good thing to see this not knowing what it's about. A genuine WTF film here.

I think I have to see this just for Alan Rickman's impression of a pickled Neil Gaiman, who apparently in a previous life ran New York's CBGB club.

That Christian Bale film looks terrible.

Under The Skin looks interesting, however.

    Why look, it's a blog:

    @beastmaster

I'd advise against looking at reviews for the book; First one I glanced at basically gave away the plot.

I wouldn't say terrible just not that interesting because it's well trodden ground. There must be half dozen films with practically the exact same plot and then there's Winter's Bone which is almost certainly a lot better and featuring much less macho BS.

    Portable view - Never forget.

I think it looks fantastic. Got Woody as well which makes it a must see.

I do wonder how much truth there is to the whole "Hillbillies have a law of their own" mythos

I am terribly excited about this film, given Glazer's previous efforts. Just bought the book and am in two minds whether to read it or wait until after the film.

    High quality version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOLLKM7-lL0

May contain elephant man and penis

Beware the comments, there may be a Breaking Bad spoiler in there (I don't watch it so no idea if it is).

    Beware. Donald Rumsfeld smugness: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NptUMuDAljA

Check out that smirk at the end. Punchable.

EDIT: The trailers on this page don't load properly for me, didn't see it was already posted.
